In case you all didn't realize it, the NFL at the last minute pulled the draft out of Madison Square Garden, where it's been since it was first televised, amnd moved it to the Javits Center, becuase Cablevision, which owns the Garden, is bitterly opposed to the new Jets Stadium on the West Side..
NIners are using every second of thier time. They must be listening to trade offers.
SF pickes ALEX SMITH -QB-Utah.
You lucked out....Tony was a spokesperson for steroid abuse before it became "popular"..
Millen, there's a genius for ya'...bring back Joe Schmidt...
DAMN! Oh well. Good for the 49ers. Smith reminds me a lot of Joe Montana.
Millen needs to go, as does Ford. Sr.
Thank you..I hope you have more examples as this thread continues..
MIami on the clock. Cedric Benson, Ronnie BRown or Cadillac Williams?
I have to say that I was impressed with the Lions' last draft. Williams, Jones, Teddy Lehman, and Alex Lewis all started and contributed in their rookie years. The 03 draft wasn't bad either(if Rogers can come back from collarbone).
Joe Montana? not even close to a Montana...he reminds me more of Tim Couch...
A RB would be the natural choice for them, but, don't be surprised if Saban takes Aaron Rodgers.
Go Cowboys!
the niners are screwed...I would have waited and then mortgaged the farm for Matt Lienart....
Miami trades then gets Edwards...
Yes, they did have the best draft last year. It will be interesting to see what they do since they really aren't weak at a key spot (other than QB, but you know how I feel about Joey).
the 'phins should take Ronnie Brown. He is just as good as the others, but has less mileage....
No way. Smith is a smart QB. They don't come around very often. The last smart one, IMHO, was Peyton Manning.
I always liked the way Leinart and Lionheart sound... imagine Matt going to Detroit next year to replace that head case Joey.
