With all the attacks of the enemy upon the Church of Jesus if the Pope can keep up a dialogue and keep Christians united on our true enemy which is Satan and not differences of Doctrine between various Christian groups I say may God bless his initiative!

"As far as the three days thing, you are not accounting for how the people of that time accounted for "days" and for translation differences."

Um - people have always known what constitutes a day and a night. That has not changed. The planet earth continues to spin around in the same time frame it has always spun. And people have always known a week has 7 days & nights. Even a child can tell you that much. In your theory you still did not account for the full time period Jesus staked this claim on. You interpreted it to fit your "beliefs".

Translations? What bible version ya wannna site? The story line remains the same. It is human reasoning that denies the truth of it. The Biblical passages of this event need no interpretation - they are quite clear.

As for reformjoy, I made no reply to reformjoy whatsoever, nor did reformjoy respond to me. Nor do I consider myself superior to any human as you suggest. Nor did I post anything insulting towards anyone. You took it wrong because you believe otherwise, without foundation. But that is your privilege as well. I merely stated some facts - it was you that decided to fire back without addressing these facts with any proof. Your being upset with me is not the issue. Like i stated before, Jesus staked his Messiahship upon this sign that He gave, so either He fulfilled that sign, or He was a liar. This is the issue that upsets you because it is not what you have been taught to believe. Don't blame me for that.

If you wish, end of discussion ...

you have had the Hitler Youth thing explained to you numerous times

Explanations, like excuses,
do not change reality.

I just feel like writing to you. :)

My own feelings are 100 percent concerned with the Pope having a past in Hitler's Youth, and if this influence will affect future world events.

If our President bows in reverence to this Pope, is that going to bring evil to us by association because of his past? I do hope not!

The Pope, is however, a powerful world figure and will be given much respect by leaders around the world.

What a moral dilemna!

Is it right, is it give any honor at all to the evils that killed so many in WWII??

Several good friends of mine, also Catholic, were equally concerned. And so, I know that I am not alone.

Take Care, and keep on Freeping! :)
