Welcome to the family!

Take them all off the public dole and put them on a reality show where they belong!

I'd watch that show! At least the Brits could get some financial relief by selling the rights worldwide to the reality program...

Just think--we could have been spared all the to-do about Diana and been watching this debacle unwind for the past 35 years. But, Diana was the biggest thing to happen to England since the Beatles and, from the look of it, the most important thing that Camilla will export to the world is the importance of hats. Lots of hats. Big hats that can cover your hair, your face, perhaps even someday, your body.

On tv, I did see the Queen smiling broadly as she stood next to Charles and Camilla, so I think this writer is overdoing it for effect.
You think?

She ... wouldn't even look at [Camilla]. Can we blame her?

The Brits have always loved and worn hats. So do the ladies who attend the Kentucky Derby, where hats are second only to horses.

That reception horse remark was cold as ice!
Unless she is such a horse enthusiast that she cannot appreciate the social situation!

Personally I think she looks pretty damn good for a 57 yr old woman. I'm curoius to know how your mother looked at that age.

I agree.
Camilla has stood up to the media and public scrutiny for quite a while now and she seems to have handled it just fine.
It's too bad that Charles and Camilla weren't allowed to marry 24 years ago. I always got the feeling that Charles was forced into marrying Diana.
Now, Charles has finally married the real love of his life and hopefully everything will be fine.

Wow. I am a big believer in lacking forgiveness for home-wreckers, but that's a bit on the cold side, even for me.
To: gopwinsin04
There were mutterings among the female guests as the Queen broke the golden rule of weddings--upstaging the bride by wearing white. Her off white outfit was almost exactly the same color Camilla had chosen for her civil wedding.Deja Vu. Isn't that what Camilla did when she attended her lover's wedding to Diana?
I don't blame the Queen for being frosty. The whole Charles, Diana, and Camilla scandal hurt the monarchy's image with ordinary folks at home.

I'm betting the Queen will now live as least as long as her mum. Which will make William about 35-40 when he becomes King.

I love hats! I wish they were still popular here or in fasion. Some of those hats were beautiful!
To: RoseofTexas
ooops...fasion=fashion! Gotta remember to use spell check! :)
To: Mears
I agree, screw the bastards.
