A little contradictory aren't you. If nothing happened why should the mother be thrown in prison.

I'm talking about the twisted serial-blackmailing mother of the accuser.

Michael Jackson will be whisked off to Marlon Brando's island in the dark of night, (even without a passport), never to set foot in the US again.

Jerry Rivers, AKA Geraldo seems to be in love with Michael Jackson for some strange reason. He did the same thing with Bill Clinton during the impeachment hearings, but it got to the point where he could no longer defend the indefensible but he continued to do so and became a pariah to many people. He seems not to have learned his lesson here either.

don't you know that its a tradition here on FR for many freepers to disbelieve anybody who would dare accuse a Hollywood star, an athlete, a rich person, or a famed comedian, among others...

simply, people don't want to believe anything bad about their "heroes"....

fortunately, I have no heros.....

My heroes are my husband who endured cancer surgery and subsequent treatment, my daughter who was my rock and salvation during it all and my son who was serving his country in the US Army at the time.

Begs the question: why didn't he do something about it then, to spare the boy the humiliation/crime/assault?

He sees MJ and the boy in the shower (and it may or may not have been as described).

He tells MJ or one of his handlers that he wants $$$$ or he will tell.

They tell him he's fired.

He files the lawsuit for being fired.

He loses bigtime.

Now he's telling.

Pretty simple.

I never liked the phrase about money as the root of all evil. I always thought that was used mainly by leftists -- they want to attack a productive economy, while they hide the evil motives behind their lust for power and dominance

That is because it is commonly misquoted.

The phrase is "THE LUST FOR MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL"

But answer me this: MJ already KNEW that he would be a target after having to pay out the millions to earlier accusers. Why would he ever put himself in that position again?

Hey, I don't get putting myself in that position in the first place, so its a tough question for someone else to anwer. I'm guessing that he lives such an insular life he really didn't grasp the situation he was in.

So you think that MJ sleeping with young boys is beautiful, not sexual?

And when exactly did you stop beating your wife?

He's undoubtedly guilty of terminal wierdness. However, that doesn't make him guilty of child molestation, and a lot of the witnesses against him are very dubious characters. Exactly. I don't get anybody doing the weird makeover stuff to themselves that he's done. He's obviously in another world, so I can't really put myself in his place.

But as you say, terminal weirdness is not the same as child molestation. I don't spend my time following this stuff, but the little I've gathered is that the accuser's family, particularly his mother, is the type of witness no self-respecting lawyer would call unless he had no choice. And this security guard...wow.

If Jackson is guilty, I hope they turn him over to Bubba in the pen. But cripe, if MJ really was this perverted, you think you'd have had so much of this stuff that it wouldn't be hard to get a decent witness or two. These people seem to be almost as big mutants as he is. And it is such a horrible crime that a false accusation is truly a horrible thing.

I hope you're right, but I think the defense has the jury "packed" and no way will they convict.

I've had the feeling that he may "leave the planet" before the trial is over. IE: Intentionally assume room temperature.

Naa, just disconnect the cable. Hook up the video game, DVR, DVD or other TV compatible devices :)

I would have thought that jackson would have had hidden video cameras set up to tape his activities with the boys. but no hints of that or pictures yet?

Pretty simple.

I understand all that. What I'm saying is why, out of common human decency, didn't he go in and stop or at least interrupt someone---anyone, I don't care if he's famous or not---hell-bent on Lewinskying a minor child?
