Didn't he just admit to a aiding and abeting a felon? Shouldn't he be arrested, his business seized, and he be fined heavily now?

Of course, if I were an IRS agent, I'd look a little closer at his tax records for this year, to see if he paid the required employment taxes on the Salvadoran he's employing (from his comments, I'd say ILLEGALLY).

"I had a Salvadoran work for me for six months, and it's not uncommon for people here to drive a migrant north in their car rather than hand them over to the U.S. Border Patrol," said cafe owner Charles Lewis.

Let some other city deal with the problem, right? Sounds like an admission of guilt to me.

Definitely looks that way to me. But of course, he's not a right-winger, and I highly doubt he's armed, so he's pretty safe.

The Senate parliamentarian has ruled that debate over an AgJOBS amendment will be allowed on the pending emergency war supplemental spending bill.

Thanks for the notice. It's time for concerned citizens to call their senators and representives and tell them to vote "NO" on this treasonous legislation and make clear that if they support this, they will not get your vote in the next election.

Here is an interesting comment from one of the locals:

"I'd rather take my chances with the Mexicans than one of these U.S. military type idiots taking part in the patrols," local truck driver John Porter told Reuters, as he took the sun on a sidewalk table outside the Daily Diner."

Looks like there is a split of opinion among the residents.

You can find a lot of worms if you keep turning up stones. And in Bisbee, a messed up town full of leftist hippies, you'll turn up a lot of worms.

Look, I'm down here and I can see how these people are being welcomed. I know your agenda and its not going to work. You're just plain wrong on this one - you might as well start bashing the March for Justice II and start looking for people who hate the participants. It's the same thing.

No, the MFJ I and II are honorable efforts that will produce positive results, as was the impeachment efforts of FR. I am proud to have supported them both. Jim is an American hero who picks the right battles when it comes to our government and society in general. I 'know' Jim Robinson, I've been a guest of his since 1998; I can say with certainly that you're no Jim Robinson, and that thing going on at the border is no March for Justice 1,2 or 3.

I would also like to point out that many of those
same euphemisms are used by the MSM to describe terrorists and mass-murderers:

* militia
* vigilantes
* renegades

What conclusions are we to draw from this?

The MSM is a tool of the globalists, and to the globalists (i.e. UN, Soros, one-worlders, etc.) american patriots and al queda are similar. Notice how fast after 9-11 the patriotic national defense fervor faded as presented by the MSM and was replaced by a hand-wringing tone of "was the US ultimately resposible" for the 9-11 attacks. Michael Moore rode on this wave.

The one-world juggernaut is still advancing and we are one or two presidents away from no-borders and a world tax.

[ Another nice "hit piece" from the left wingers at Reuters. They have about the same level of credibility as the federal government--zero. ]

Putting Rooters in the same bag as Bush's administration is OUTRAGOUS...
Notice I didn't it was WRONG, just OUTRAGEOUS...
And it IS getting more outrageous by the day...

I 'know' Jim Robinson, I've been a guest of his since 1998; I can say with certainly that you're no Jim Robinson, and that thing going on at the border is no March for Justice 1,2 or 3.

One of the guys running the comms center for the Minuteman Project was at MFJ I. He even posted a sign he made from the MFJ in the comms center, that's how I know he was there. Many Minuteman Project participants are FReepers too. I don't know what got you riled up about this honorable effort on the border but you're totally wrong about it. Despite all of your weak naysaying, the project has already had most of its intended effect.

I thought MFJ I was a great thing, and MFJ II is going to be a great thing. But the reality is that unfortunately neither have had or will have a measurable effect beyond energizing the attending FReepers beyond the point that they are already energized. I'm not knocking the MFJs and if I had the $$$ and vacation leave to travel and participate, I'd certainly be there tomorrow. The MMP, on the other hand, has already proven that the illegal border crossing can be stopped by the Mexican government and that if the disincentives were strong enough (like actually enforcing existing laws) and security was good enough, the illegal crossing would slow to a trickle. It has already had a positive effect.

Minuteman Project rally participants wave U.S. and their state flags while showing their support for the U.S. Border Patrol and calling for stronger border security.
Unfortunately, MFJ I and the upcoming MFJ II will only be mentioned in passing on a handful of news outlets and possibly might be covered on CSPAN. The MMP has achieved international attention and even President Bush has had to sit up and take notice.

The bottom line is that all of these are worthy efforts - the MFJs and the MMP. The same kind of people are participating in all of these events despite your contentions that everyone with the MMP is just a bunch of loonie racist militia types. I'm right here on the border and I've met most of them and your characterization of MMP participants is totally inaccurate.

I've been a guest of Jim Robinson longer than you have. And I can say that you're no Jim Robinson either nor can you speak for Jim Robinson despite what you just tried to do. You may not agree wholeheartedly with the tactic and cause of the MMP, but you could stop misrepresenting it and flame-baiting everyone about it. How about you focus on the upcoming MFJ II - and do something constructive - instead of constantly trying to tear down the noble efforts and sacrifices of another group of patriotic American citizens?

Some of the 450 Minuteman Project volunteers

We're all on the same side here. We all can see places where America is threatened. You are free to put your effort in one place, I'm free to put it elsewhere. We're both trying to achieve the same goals as are the Minuteman Project and the March for Justice. We want to ensure that America remains free and defend it from enemies foreign and domestic. Let's act like it.

So you feel Reuters has more credibility than the federal government on the illegal alien issue? Well, OK...

And, if I may inquire, what is your position on the MMP and illegal alien issue?

I live in Tucson, which is less than 100 miles from Bisbee. 90% of the people who live in Bisbee are old-hippies and of course they are going to speak out against this. Everyone else that I speak to are extremely happy with the minutemen. They are proving a point that our borders can and should be enforced. Bush is a complete a-hole and trader for allowing this to continue _ I will be very glad when we are done with all the Bushs for good - they are elitist MA liberals who act like conservatives to get in power and then stab conservatives in the back every chance they get.

The camo T-shirt in the photo was being distributed by Tom Tancredo's Team America PAC on opening day of the Minuteman Project. A donation of $20 got you one - I got one.
