In the St. Pete Times Neighborhood Times section this past Sunday, (fished out of the recycling bin - no longer subscribe), THE CITY OF PINELLAS PARK IS GOING TO CHARGE HOSPICE FOR THE POLICE FORCE ASSIGNMENT TO HOSPICE WOODSIDE, not to the taxpayers.
Guess the City got a little heat for suggesting that they pass along that cost to taxpayers. Approx. 100K to arrest children, etc.
Jim King was blessed with all the tasty luncheons and dinners he could get his hands on. I'd like to see Jim King's inside poll data. He's disgusting and I hope Jacksonville wises up and puts some boomer up against him who isn't with the culture of "I can eat" but others shall go to heaven when I think they should. PORKY HYPOCRITE.
That's a pile of bovine feces, since when do they have to ask permission from the abuser to check out the abusee? It's like asking the wolf if the chickens are ok....Yum.
Of course it's horse maner. Pinellas Cty is like a giant rubber band collection that you can roll down a hill. This one knows that one knows this one....
Terri ping to 1539! If anyone would like to be added to or removed from my Terri ping list, please let me know by FReepmail!
When Greer meets his maker, maybe the Lord will say "interesting, but irrevelent"
Terri ping to 1583, and make sure you bookmark and make use of the link at 1588 as well! If anyone would like to be added to or removed from my Terri ping list, please let me know by FReepmail!
One of the first things the new Pope said was about the value of human life. Ya think that the new Pope has some strong feelings remaining about what Floriduh did to Terri? I saw a crawler on Fox and haven't seen this in print yet.
I believe he is very upset about what happened to Terri, and I am quite hopeful that he will demote Bishop Lynch for his outrageous lack of leadership about Terri. Lynch is a disgrace to the Catholic Church.
Yes, remember they gave statements daily from the Vatican every single day that Terri was denied nutrition and hydration. One or two a day. Bishop Lynch's relationships with local attorneys was more important to him than his faith imo.
Not to change the subject at hand, but do you or anyone know how I can get in touch with Pat Anderson? That info came up somewhere in these threads but I lost track. TIA.
MarMema has been in contact with her husband, Tom. I have also pinged a few others who may know.
Thanks! Freepmail me, anyone.
Sheeeeesh! FINALLY some good news. I was beginning to wonder. Are you sure?
Oh, I forgot. Judge Greer will issue an edict requiring Terri's parents to pay for the police protection. Like it was their fault, don't ya know.
Please, dear Lord, let the new Pope issue severe admonitions about what happened to Terri.

Thank you for contacting me regarding the efforts to keep Terri Schiavo alive. I understand your concern and I appreciate hearing from you.
The story of Terri Schiavo is by all accounts tragic and I feel much sympathy for the ordeal her family has experienced over the past 15 years. However, I have deep reservations about Congress interceding in her case. Traditionally, issues of guardianship fall under the jurisdiction of the state government, and the U.S. Congress may have overstepped its constitutional authority with legislation directed at the Terri Schiavo case.
Furthermore, I have concerns over the interference of the legislative branch of the federal government in personal family matters, including medical choices.
As you know, on March 20, 2005 the House of Representatives agreed to vote on S.636. Specifically, S.636 grants jurisdiction to the U.S. District Court to hear, determine, and render judgment on a suit on behalf of Theresa Schiavo. The legislation passed the House by a vote of 203 to 58 and was signed into public law on March 21, 2005. Following the enactment of the law, a U.S. District Court judge in Florida, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit and the U.S. Supreme Court summarily denied appeals to rehear the case made on behalf of the parents of Theresa Schiavo.
Again, thank you for contacting me. Please feel free to contact me again on this or any other issue of your concern. Sincerely, Jim Costa Member of Congress
Flush him out with your next vote. I'm so tired of the word 'tragic'. It doesn't come close to describing the hell Terri had to live through without getting therapy. I'm tired of these politicians. Same ole nonsense it's always been!
The other night I was so shocked to hear what the "plan" of the Democraps is in fighting the next election. Firstly, they had Howard Dean, Hillary Clinton and the outgoing DNC chairman (forget the scoundrels name) together. Their "plan" is to use the Schiavo fiasco AGAINST the Republicans as if fighting to save an innocent girls life was a travesty. I thought to myself, liberalism is akin to mental retardation. There is nothing else that could explain a statement like that. They actually believe that middle America is going to think that killing an innocent disabled woman is going to win them votes. I know what they "plan" to do. They plan to make it look as if they were "interfering" in the judicial process. Of course they won't mention that the judicial process was corrupt and rotten right to the core. I hope middle America is awake.
Congress"man" Costa got a nasty reply from me, don't ya know. Very nasty. I, too, am sick of the evil spin! Bureaucratic nonsense. He doesn't even know what he believes. Corrupt!
