That started in late 2001 with a supposedly-conservative President who's shown to be anything but, fiscally.

How does the judgement happen, logistically speaking? Will my local parish rat me out that I don't go to mass every week? If you mail in your collection envelope they'll never know. ;-)

Sorry, I have no idea of why they predicted Dec 23, 2013. Perhaps they ran out of Pope's?

John Paul II. The 110th is "De Labore Solis" (Of the Solar Eclipse, or From the Toil of the Sun). The corresponding pope was John Paul II (1978-2005). John Paul II was born on May 8 (sic)
, 1920 during an eclipse of the sun. Like the sun, he came out of the East (Poland). Like the sun, he visited countries all around the globe. Has the Partial Solar Eclipse of April 8, 2005 been mentioned in this thread? It won't be visible from Europe; nonetheless, that's the day of JPII's funeral.

England was Catholic until well after the Reformation. King Henry VIII broke ties with Rome only because the Pope refused to grant him an annulment and then in all other matters he remained a staunch Catholic. The Anglicans were seen as too Catholic by other English sects who were persecuted precisely because they were not Orthodox enough. England is still very much Anglican - although I must have missed the memo about the alleged 1848 re-conversion. Don't worry; no body else got it either.

I thought the Quatraines of Nostradamus held prophecies up until the year 3000. I recall them going far into the future as well. Time will tell.
