This attorney doesn't seem to bright. Since the autopsy was completed at lightning speed, it is obvious that it was done only to determine cause of death. If the Schindlers want more answers as to what happened to their daughter, it seems that this lawyer should have suggested an immediate wrongful death lawsuit. That lawsuit would prevent Terri's body from being destroyed by cremation.

So you honestly believe that Terri would have WANTED for her parents to not attend her funeral or even know where she was buried.
The difference IS that your SIL did what your brother would have wanted. This is not the case with this creton.
OR....maybe the Schindlers don't have the stomach for it, which would be understandable.
If the Schindlers want any peace, they will now stop future contact with him or the people surrounding them. Lawsuits, court actions would just lead them into constant horrows. Sometimes you have to know when it is time to fold them. I hope they can.
The autopsy was not done at lightning speed. They usually take 4 hours, then the organs are examined later, after they are fixed in formalin and cut up into pieces for microscopic slides.
And once an autopsy is done, the body is no longer of interest in a forensic suit unless some later evidence comes up. I don't think there will be such as this forensic pathologist knows the likelihood of suits etc.
At 6' 7" Michael Schiavo can run, but he can't hide. My intuition tells me that he will soon be reunited with his beloved Terri.
I would almost make a bet that if a movie is made of this mess it will be made by the Schindlers.

I strongly doubt Michael will end up in the same place as Terri.
Just remember Michael is a great guy who's been a great husband.

Michael Schiavo is evil -- plain and simple. If I were his girlfriend, I'd be worried.

People like Shiavo's attorney, George Felos, have done more harm to their cause then they realize at this point. They have awakened a sleeping giant.
The judiciary will be reformed, and Terri Schindler-Schiavo will be remembered forever.

Yep. Even supporters of MS have got to find that propostion hard to swallow. Not to mention that MS had not one but two of her lawyers at her deathbed, yet threw out her brother and priest!
I think that her parents should get on with their lives and have their own memorial service to honor her.
I think they should let her husband do what he wants with her remains.
Her parents can also set up a special memorial where they can visit in order to honor her.
Her parents fought the good fight, and it's over. I think they need to keep him as much out of their lives as possible.
Everybody sees this situation from their own perspective, and my vision of this is that no man who says he loved his wife could ever treat her parents the way this guy has treated the Schindlers.
Could somebody tell me why that jerk of a husband had so much power over terri's rehabilitation, care and now funeral? Can't they see that what he is doing and has done has not been in the best interest to Terri or his family? If I can see that, why can't any of these "educated" doctors and judges see it? I just don't get it!!!!!!! What am I missing?? (no puns please!)
I will say that sometimes children do not get along with their parents, and sometimes they marry someone that they get along with better than their parents.
After talking to my parents about this case, I for one am glad that my husband will be in charge of me in this situation.
My parents would be the one wanting to take me off of a feeding tube, and my husband would not.
My parents would want me to be buried, and my husband knows that I want to be cremated. He can figure out what he wants to do with the ashes.

Anytime someone tells you what he personally believes won't affect how he makes judicial decisions is either a liar or a . . . liar.
If Governor Bush does anything at all, he should remove Judge Greer from the Courts and strip him of judicial authority.

The only thing I can figure is a deal with the devil. I mean it's gotten outrageous at all the injustices involved in this case. Sadly, most people don't bother finding out the real facts and truth and are getting their information from the 40 seconds mentioned on the evening news.
