The information about the comments by the Schiavo brothers is interesting. The public needs to know more about these "low-life, bullying" people. People have a hard time understanding issues unless there are heroes and villains. Terri and her parents and siblings -- above all her parents -- qualify as heroes. The Schiavos, not only Michael himself, increasingly look like villains. So let's get on with vilifying them. Terri's death is a near-certainty at this point. We need to focus now on winning the spin war, like the left always does.

If Terri must die let her be a catalyst for change.

I'm not saying anything. Unlike hundreds of others here, I know that my opinion doesn't matter.

My thoughts on this are my own and I do not feel the need to express them here.

The only opinion I am willing to give is that this is the time for the Schindlers to be left alone to focus on their daughter.

I said nothing of the sort. You are making things up and name calling.

Just like a small child.

"Either their daughter is already "dead" and her body is being euthanized, or their daughter is being murdered. Your choice"

Bwahahahah.

I agree with that, but maybe not in the way you meant it.

He is an activist judge because he has made new law contrary to statutes of the State of Florida which explicitly forbid assisted suicide and the failure by caregivers to provide food and water to disabled persons. He did not merely ordering the withdrawal of the feeding tube, which might by a stretch of the imagination be regarded as an 'extraordinary medical measure' (refusal of which is supported by adequate case law), but issued an order explicitly forbidding the provision of any food or water, contrary to the explicit and plain meaning of a statute of the State of Florida. If he had ordered the withdrawal of the feeding tube, only, Terri's parents could have tried to sustain her with broth and jello given orally, and, indeed under Florida law (this is about the rule of law isn't it?) the workers at the hospice would have been obliged to do the same. If he had merely ordered the withdrawal of the feeding tube, good hearted Christians would not be being arrested for trying to bring her water, following Christ's command 'in as much as ye do this to the least of these . . .'

The order, going beyond the withdrawal of the feeding tube to the forbidding of all attempts at feeding and hydrating Terri Schiavo, is murder under color of law just as surely as would be her death by the gun of a police officer under the plea she was threatening him.

Wouldnt it be ironic if he wound up with a tube in his gut. I'm not a biblical scholar but there is a passage about rejoicing in the death of evil ones.

A truly absurd and preposterous suggestion. I will volunteer my professional service to defend Judge Greer from such an abomination if it should gain any traction----which it won't.
