If the UN wanting to get involved with the Internet, there are two areas that they are mainly concerned about:
1. Taxation
2. Censorship

The leftists want to control the 13 root authoritative Domain Name Servers. We'd be making a big mistake to even let them take over management of only 1 such DNS server.Incrementalism.
First, they'd use the propaganda of "to be fair" to try to get the rest. Then, maybe "equality for all servers". How about "unified?"
Instead of making them all free, to "make it fair", they'd dictate them all.
