Stand as a Witness

If you ask me what I believe
I will tell you how I've come to know
That my Heavenly Father loves me
And as I trust in the Savior I can be whole.
Though I don't know all things
I know who I am.
I'm a daughter, a child of God.
Through the Spirit, I feel a power so real
That gives me the faith to stand strong.
I will stand as a witness in all times and places,
For I know that my Savior is counting on me
To stand as His witness and build up the kingdom.
I know blessings unmeasured are waiting for me
If I can endure and live worthy to be
The servant, the daughter I promised the Lord I would be.
Through His prophets here on earth
I believe God shows the way.
In a dark and searching world

He claims the doctor who says she has a form of consciousness has "a mix of ideology and diagnostic effort…which comes from his fundamentalist belief."
He says I think it's important to maintain the integrity of the diagnosis first", as if you can separate your morals from your actions??
His big worry was for HIMSELF: Now he has to worry, "are they going to believe what I have to say the next time I have to tell a family their relative is pvs?"

This says it all.
As much as I hate to leave this fellowship, I must. I've been up praying and faxing and emailing on Terri's behalf since 5:00 this morning and am about to fall out of my chair! As I drift off to sleep, I will be singing in my heart all the wonderful hymns of faith and recalling the beautiful prayers shared by so many tonight. May the Lord bless and keep you, and may He wrap His loving arms around our dear Terri His Beloved and her grieving family.
I've been here for the last three to four days. I have gotten nothing done all week. No laundry, nothing. I get on her early and got to bed at 1 am. I stayed away for a few months but this has me back here again.
I was here like this non-stop during the shootings in MD/VA because my sisters are there. You meet a lot of nice freepers during the crisis times.
No word from Whittmore. State Police thing was pulled, evidently false.
Don't feel too shy.
God uses us in how he knows it will work. He gets me to write prayers to make sure that I pray (He's sneaky that way!)
I adore thee, O Christ,
who chose to come among us,
taste the dust that you had created,
experience the poverty of the working man,

feel the grief of those who lose their loved ones,
see our greed,
our pettiness

I always think about that, as I pray before I sleep...and I can never seem to stay awake an hour to pray before that happens.
I fear I must go to bed as well it is almost midnight here. I will see you all tomorrow.

Without the prayers you'd probably be in thread alone. We pray on these threads often.

Amen! Lord, I agree! You are the One Eternal God---Immortal, Invisible, God always wise. You never forsake Your children. We lift up hearts of praise to You for all You are doing as we wait for Your answers which shall surely come. Blessed is the Name of the Lord, Most High. In the Name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
