Would that we could get 1500 men.
15,000 would be incredible. Then we wouldn't need the kids except to take pictures of mom and pop getting arrested. ;-)
"...so I'm wondering who was responsible for the release..."
I think once the information enters the courtroom it becomes public record.
That could be it...
No! Your offensive comment about resurrection in 3 days.
Totally tasteless and unnecessary. And despicable.
"In almost 5 years here, I have never seen anything that has divided us to such a degree."
Elian...that was a doozy.
Ah yes, the one that was basically in response to all the Jesus comparisons because it's so close to Easter and Good Friday etc... That must be the one. Yeah, offensive is right - and I responded in kind.
Totally tasteless and unnecessary. And despicable.
You didn't like it? Well, too bad. I don't post here for the purposes of making YOU happy, and I don't post here, all the while thinking to myself "Ooh. I wonder how Badray will feel about this... Hmmm..." because quite honestly, I care little about what you, or anyone else, thinks about me.
That being said, I'll continue supporting the cause of Life, but I will NOT stand idly by while my faith is mocked and blasphemed. So deal with it.
True, but then again, I've seen a lot of people on the Right also claim they are using the bible, but really twisting it and perverting it to their own ends. I'm not saying YOU do, so don't take that personally :)
The book of Psalms gives a lot of good direction for child-rearing. These parents in Florida seem to be adhering to those standards.
They may be. Then again, ya never know.
With the comments that I've read from you, it is hard to believe that you have a faith, but that is not for me to judge.
I still hold that your comments were in poor taste and only added fuel to whatever fire may have been there.
Except for some pulled posts, I've read every post on this thread. The picture in question must have been pulled.
Your crack about the Resurrection is uncalled for. It would be bad enough if you didn't claim to be a Christian, but it is especially so since you claim to be one.
I'm guessing you must not understand the whole concept of pointing out absurdities by using absurdities.
Sounds like it's you that has the problem. I'm far from perfect, but those closest to me have no problems knowing I have Faith, so I have no need to seek validation from anonymous people on the internet. Thanks for the offer, though :)
Ok, I hereby nominate this thread to be "The Thread with the most uniquely wide variety of Nazi references"...
Just trying to get you to smile, my FRiend.
It's been a long and exhausting day for everyone.
Take care.
You said it. I've been here nearly 5 years as well, and I've never seen an issue bring out as much anger and rudeness in such a normally fine group of people. I suspect many of these people will be very embarrassed by their comment's if they have the opportunity to look back on them in a few years. People here simply do not deserve the names, insults and condemnation that many here have been dishing out.
If these kids were burning a flag or spray painting a building, the ACLU and the liberal media would be tearing up the police right now saying there constitutional rights were being violated.
The world is entirely upside down, folks.
"I forgot that it's always been ok in the United States of America to commit murder as long as it's on private property. Thanks for pointing that out."
No problem... but you missed the point. The court of law that presides over this case granted the husband permission to remove her feeding tube after that action was contested by the parents. So, it is a legal activity occuring on private property.
"This is NOT a private matter. It is in the interest of every right thinking American to not allow the precedent to be set that a state court may order the murder of an inconvenient person."
Oh but it is a private matter. The court is allowing a husband to carry out the wishes of his wife, not ordering murder. Just because you don't believe the husband's story and empathize with the parents doesn't make you right and the court wrong.
You might be right about the kids not having to be brainwashed to figure this one out. :-)

I think my kids nailed it.
"How would they feel (the police) if these kids were arrested for trying to bring them water"?

Brilliant, aren't they?
Yeah, Elian.
Funny how one issue fades into the next and blends into another and folds into a new one.
It just never ends.
I'm not always good at picking winners, but I always choose right.
Hmmm. New tag line material? LOL
It is now quite evident that you don't care what anyone thinks. How proud you must be as you reach each new lower level.
If this is how you defend your positions, please take the other side. You'll do us all a favor.
