US HOUSE COULD STILL SAVE TERRIS LIFECALLS NEEDED
Pamela Hennessy, spokesperson for the Terri Schindler-Schiavo Foundation, has issued a statement concerning the current situation in the U.S. Congress involving the needed compromise of the approved, but different, versions of the habeas corpus bill that would save the life of Terri Schiavo.
As part of the House adjournment resolution, Congress must agree to the Senate's HABEAS CORPUS bill to save Terri. According to a reliable source that while the House (Federal) has left for the night, they have not adjourned for recess as was originally thought. There must be a resolution first thing Friday morning to adjourn.
House leaders, listed below, can make a condition of adjournment the approval of the Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act (Habeas Corpus) a requirement.
I know as little about these things as anyone possibly could, but I've been directed to ask you that you please flood the following with emails, phone calls or faxes to insist on these conditions prior to the House adjournment.
Remember, both chambers have already approved, in some form, the Incapacitated Persons Legal Protection Act. This is a very small step for them to finalize the measure before they recess and there is no time left for our representatives to squander. Please make contact and encourage
others to.

Help Save Terri Schiavo:
Please Help NOW
ALERT: This is an EMERGENCY. Terri Schiavo's LIFE is counting on what we do now.
Earlier today, the Florida House passed a bill 78-37 to block the withholding of food and water from patients in a persistent vegetative state who did not leave specific instructions regarding their care -- which would save Terri's life.
But this afternoon, just hours later, the Florida Senate defeated a similar bill 21-16.
If just THREE state Senators were to change their votes, we could STOP Terri from being STARVED to death starting at 1:00pm Friday.
There were several Senators that actually DID vote to save Terri's life two years ago... but changed their votes this time. They need to be encouraged to vote the RIGHT way when the bill comes up again Friday morning. We need to call them and e-mail them RIGHT NOW.
Let's make a DIFFERENCE.
TAKE ACTION: The following six Florida State Senators supported the law that saved Terri Schiavo's life in October of 2003.
Today, they have indicated that they might NOT support a new law to save Terri.
If they turn against Terri -- this new bill will fail.
The Florida Senate will vote on the new law to save Terri's life on Friday morning, March 18."

Thanks for the thread, we kept the thread title the same so folks will find it easier. Let the regulars know, the main title will remain the same (whatever you choose, we'll work with), and the sub title might change, for now, we took the liberty and reposted the title from the old thread so folks would know where they were. As a side note, post a new thread every 5000 posts or so, it really helps our system. Thanks, and as always, hit the abuse link if you have questions or concerns (that's the fastest way to contact us), we'll help as best as we can. Olive and the mods.
As of this moment, the Senate is still in session.
...and...
It was reported on CSPAN2 that the house has already adjourned for the week. I don't know if it's true...but that is what was reported. :(

He sure does, and Freepers won't let you down. Nor will we let Terri down.
Is there police dogs there too?
Your welcome! Turn on Hannity, he's supposed to cover it on the show tonight!
They are working for the powers that be there, Greer and the rest. There is no mystery at all as to what there purpose is. God can do whatever He wills, but there is no mystery as to the fact that this force is there to make sure Terri dies, as per Greer's order.
It was like Nazi Germany last time they tried to kill Terri. They cops all had guns. There were attack dogs, and they weren't very friendly (the cops, not the dogs)
I just know that God is God and can do anything above and beyond our wildest dreams.
I just have to believe He will come to the rescue! I don't dare think it could possibly be any other way, other than what we are praying and believing!
I am thinking the same thing. Perhaps the police being there are part of God's plan on this. Heaven knows I can't see how this is going to work out.

OK, I got you there now. Funny thing about this ping list. Sometimes, like just now, I'm really surprised when someone asks to be put on, 'cause you post so often for Terri that I just assume you've been on it already. LOL! I had to double-check, and you weren't!
All I know is what amdgmary posted earlier
The Pinellas Park Police Dept have Hospice surrounded. Several K-9 units were watching us (the dogs were barking at us). Terri has 3 police officers in her room and 2 officers guarding the entrance to her room.
My daughter just said, "She must be so frightened".
You, my dear, are a ghoul.
