The entire downtown area is cordoned off.

How on earth can one carry a gun into a courthouse???Current word from WSB-TV is that the perp may have grabbed the gun from an officer inside the courtroom.

thanks for posting this. FRN is reporting a Judge and a Deputy shot. Nothing mentioned about a clerk.
They're saying the Judge is dead, altho it hasn't been confirmed.
Now showing clip of an ambulance with a police escort.
New report coming on mentioning a clerk being shot.
Courthouse is in a lockdown.

Luckily, traffic this morning is lighter, as most school systems are out today; traffic is expected to pick up in about an hour or so, as the SEC Tournament is underway at the Georgia Dome though.
