I refer you to last night's thread.

Doug about peed himself posting (non-existent at the time) a photo that showed Sean holding a sign that says he likes FReepers.

Sorry, but it's a rather juvenile desire for someone's approval.

Please copy/paste the post demonstrating that I feel the opposite about Sean.

There's no need to, because that isn't what I said........I said a 'different opinion'.....which isn't the same thing as 'the opposite.'

You clearly have a different opinion about Sean, because you are bothered enough to insult people with crudities and scoffing because they want FR and Sean to be on the same page.

If you're not 'mad' you're doing a good job of imitating how people act when they are.

My question to you, is why does it bother you that other people want to make the point that we are on the same side, fighting the same battles as Sean, and why are you so incredibly defensive about your being a 'big boy' who can think for himself?

As I said.......I'm completely objective about this. Sometimes I really like Sean, and sometimes he drives me nuts (like when I listen for 5 minutes in the car, and 3 of them are telling me what's coming up in the next hour).

Anyway.....I'll go with my first impression. Insecurity.

I think you are completely misinterpreting everything on that thread (I also read that, and replied to it today).

Getting excited about talking to Sean Hannity is what we call "normal." Responding like you have to it is what most people call "rude."

I only see one juvenile when I compare what doug has posted and what you have........and it's not doug.

Well, since I'm not clairvoyant, I can't tell you whether:

A. I'm fighting the same battles as Sean. He's been 'right' on some issues, but beyond the ones I've heard, I don't know whether he's (to borrow a line from Ferris Bueller) a fascist anarchist...and I don't care. I form my own opinions.

B. Whether my feelings about Sean are 'different' from DFU's or not. All I know is he was about to pass out to post a photo last night that said Sean likes FReepers...So what?

Beyond that, most people I know--despite the fact that they have strong opinions--don't call into radio shows. So to say it's 'normal' to be excited about talking to Sean Hannity on the phone, well...

As far as the insecurity thing, dude...you're free to form your own opinion about me. Which is the point I've been trying to make for 24 hours. Forming one's own opinion.

Clearly, Doug feels like he's slayed a dragon by posting Sean's photo holding a sign saying he likes FReepers. My opinion of myself or my opinion of FR don't change because of what Sean does. Period.

Which brings us back to my original point to you. Doug feels better knowing Sean approves of FR. I was never insecure about myself in the first place.

Make your next post a good one, I've got about one more response left in me before I've gotta go nite-nite.

:)

We need a report from Doug on how his day was. Sounds exciting. Where was the studio and all that.

I see......... you are a 'big boy' who forms his 'own opinions' (a point you have made, oh, say, 200 times thus far....), and who insults with impunity those who challenge those opinions.

I've seen enough of Doug's posts to know that he has NO problem forming his own opinions, and that you have carried your own obsession with belittling him to the point where you have belittled yourself by not letting it go of that obsession.

I don't let anyone, including Sean Hannity, tell me what to think, but I'm not foolish enough to say that what he thinks doesn't matter. He has a huge audience, and did a whole lot to help reelect our President, and he is particularly good at making fun of the left.

As Doug has said, "We're on the same side." At least most of us are.......

I guess our friend has every right to psychoanalyze me and talk about my insecurity. I bet you didn't know that he is a world renowned psychiatrist, did you?

LOL! I could tell that.

He must have passed his boards at a very young age, because I'm guessing him to be about 17 now.

He's a big boy who's VERY proud that he forms his own opinions............and you............well, you're just a mess, Doug. ;o)

Once again.....GOOD job on Sean today. I'm glad I was listening when you called. Fun stuff!

I don't know where the studio is. I had just finished a Kiwanis lunch and called in from my cell phone.

"Doug did a nice job. We need to keep good relations with EVERYBODY on our side. Sean is one of the good guys. Let's not forget that."

Agreed, with one caveat, Let's not forget that All MSM and those who work for them are never completely exempt from the possibility of corruption or 'losing their way' which comes from power and money, and ALL MSM is in the business of making money.

Great job Doug!!

This reminds me of the thread I put up during the Olympics --- a thread to send good wishes and congratulations to Paul Hamm. I made it clear that I would try to get the thread in Paul's hands. Sure enough, a few ***holes got on the thread to criticize Paul. I explained to them that such was not the purpose of the thread and suggested they start their own thread to have that discussion. Sure enough, they had no class and no decorum. They would not quit attacking Paul on the thread. They accused me of wanting to "censor" them. I guess we just have to face the facts. Even some conservatives, as we have seen, can be ***holes.

JimRob really doesn't like being on the air. I had to almost drag him kicking and screaming to do an interview on Rightalk radio at the FReeper Ball.

No, Power players like Jim prefer to remain behind the scenes pulling the strings of our puppet government. We all know that Jim and Karl Rove run the country. /sarcasm

I know the types. Any time you want a thread directed in a certain way, or for a specific purpose, they start whining about 'free speech'.............as though they don't have it.

Most of them are babies as I see it. "I want to do what I want to do when I want to do it, and you can't stop me!"

If you want MY psychoanalysis, I'd say their parents attended one too many How to Build Your Child's Self-Esteem classes, and raised little monsters. ;o)

Or realized he made a total fool of himself yesterday?

In any case, congratulations for being rid of him.
