i will pray for the SOB. i want him alive to make Hill's life hell on earth for as long as possible. imagine her a grieving widow???? every believing freeper better be on their knees for him!

What doctors said that it would be OK for Clinton to spend so many of the last weeks flying so soon after his open heart surgery?

".. without "chastisement" from other posters."

Where in outer space did that come from? If I thought it even remotely resembled chastisement, I wouldn't have posted it.

Just a point that Clinton has come and gone as a force and we now have a stronger power base because of reaction to him.

You would have right AND left sided heart failure BEFORE you would have tamponade. (Tamponade is a late development.) Pressure exerted inward by pericardial fluid buildup will interfere with wall movement and the volume of blood tha can flow into each chamber. This is going to drop stroke volume and CO. Add in the pressure exerted upon the coronary artieries by the mass of fluid pressing in upon them; look for ischemic changes from impaired circulation through the coronary arteries. This will add to CHF risk. Additionally, there will be pressure exerted on the pulmonary arteries by the volume of pericardial effusion. This will drop the amount of blood circulating through the pulmonary loop, and contribute to CHF.

You will have right and left sided hear failure BEFORE you have tamponade.

Shoot...Now I'm really confused. Where did you read a coherent report?

I haven't. I'm going on twenty years of experience in the field.

Lost my Dad to congestive heart failure in 1996. Not a good way to go. You literally drown in your own juices.

I have zero respect for Mr. CLinton, feel he did irrepairable damage to our country and disgraced the office of President and the White House.

But I wish him well. God bless.

I think the average LOS

Length of stay is for insurance purposes...but if you are paying out of pocket, or better yet, having the Government pay out of pocket, LOS is when you want to go.

As far as I know chest tubes are still in use and would be the treatment of choice...I have certainly milked enough of them.

This sounds fishy.

..."which our founders tried to codify in the Bill of Rights, tried to warn and protect us from. This country should never forget this. It is the legacy of Clinton/Reno and is much an outgrowth of influence which Hillary Clinton had"...thank you for posting this. For all the reasons, issues, observations and beliefs that are expressed here about Hillarhea! this event crystalizes the whole Clinton presidency...and is the least discussed and remembered

I agree with you. I wish him well. My political disagreements with him aside, I never ascribed evil motives to his behaviors. I thought he was too much of a moral freewheeler and as such the standard of what a President should be were unacceptably lowered with him as an example.

I saw clips of him playing golf today and felt worried for him. His doctors know more than I do, but I wondered how they could let him go out and exert himself in light of his health circumstances!

I hope Bill comes through just fine -- can you imagine the sympathy votes, if Hillary ran for president as Bill's widow?

Good points...although the average LOS is indeed around 6 days...for a CABG. Even with the private payer's...

Of course VIP's....especially an ex-POTUS will get white-glove treatment. I don't dispute that...

America is much stronger than any one President
Yep. One need not hate people for their political beliefs either. That's what DUmmies and lefties do.

I wish the guy well. He's always seemed like someone one could get along well personally, even if he is usually full of feces. I have plenty of acquaintances like that....LOL

. Besides, if he passed then Hillary would turn it into political capital for her nanny-state health care proposals.
