I agree. I always snap the radio off the second I hear "Having My Baby."I think I dislike it because he seems to be whining rather than singing.

"I've Got Tears In My Ears From Lying On My Back Crying Over You"Isn't that from the same guy who sang "If I said you had a beautiful body, would you hold it against me?"
Probably not, but I kinda like silly little word plays in my beer drinkin music.

Do you love me? Will you love me forever? Do you need me? Will you never leave me? Will you make me so happy for the rest of my life? Will you take me away? Will you make me your wife?

The one I grew up with was 'two wrongs don't make a right, but the second one gets even'. My personal favorite take on this one is "Two wrongs don't make a right, but three lefts do"

I remember all too well when Jimmy Carter humiliated the nation by having The Capt. and Tennile perform "Muskrat Love" at an official White House function NO...he didn't really do that did he!????? How'd I miss that?
I remember seeing it on TV and my dad complaining about it lol.
I just Googled it and didn't find any pictures, but did find reference to it. I had forgotten that it was at a state dinner for Queen Elizabeth!
The article I found remarked on the inadvisability of playing a song about copulating rodents for the Queen lol.

My wife's a Beatlemaniac.
She says Sir Paul wrote Martha My Dear on The Beatle's (White Album) album to his dog. Another silly love song dedicated to a dog.

Paul McCartney's "Silly Love Songs" make me consider the Hunter S. Thompson solution. LOL!! For you or McCartney? I vote for using it on him.

Bobby Vinton's "Roses are Red" is so bad that it makes my flesh crawl.

Has "Torn Between Two Lovers" been mentioned yet? If not, I nominate it.
But FEELINGS is number one worst.

"Torn Between Two Lovers" used to confuse me as a kid. I remember asking my mom about it, and she just didn't answer. First time I've thought about that in years!
