I guess we will never really know the full story, since Lisa is not here to tell her side. I was a single (divorced) mother for two years, with a preschool age child. I did not bring a string of men through our home and I agree that lots of women do way too much of that. It's not good for kids.

Regarding the birth control issue that has been raised--I know a woman who was on the pill, became pregnant because she was on antibiotics that interfered with the pill. Birth control does fail sometimes.

It is distressing that there are so many murders of pregnant women, married and unmarried. My point was that marriage doesn't necessarily provide protection, a la Scott Peterson.

I'm not arguing with you, just commiserating. I have five children to prepare for life in a world that is way too violent, and it's depressing sometimes.

Unborn babies have legal rights in Texas now in cases of murder, so the killer can be fried for all three deaths.

I raised the birth control issue and I think it's still somewhat valid since she has 2 kids while not married. One accident is understandable but 2 is a little more unreasonable.

I also have 5 children, from age 5 to 15. 4 girls, one boy.

You sound like a responsible mother and I agree, lots of women bring a string of men into the home with disregard to the children.

They all keep each other entertained, so having more is actually not so hard. Lots of laundry though! :)

***also have 5 children, from age 5 to 15***

Well then you can appreciate my laundry woes! ;) Ours range from 3 to 16. The joy of our lives!

I adore my children! There can by trying times and I do have a daily mountain of laundry but I wouldn't change my life with anyone's.

I do wish my teenagers wouldn't trash their rooms, though!
