I hope he loses his next re-election. In a landslide. What are the idiots in AZ thinking?
Sorry, won't happen: he was reelected in an AZ landslide in 2004. People in AZ "believe" in McCain. They may also like the publicity he brings to the state -- their best known politician by far since Goldwater, whom he succeeded, by the way.

with a voting record that is 80% with the Repub party I would say he is border line.......yesterday day I was more pissed at words like "traitor" etc.......while I don't agree with some of his positions, I tend to side with conservative blogs like Powerline and LGF and Hugh Hewitt that can disagree without hurling invectives and insults all over the place......I realize that FR is comprised of more "citizen" forum users and thus when responding you'll get more of the dissenters writing in to the posts.....I try and look just at the facts and try not to use extreme emotion influence them though I know it is hard when one is passionate about a subject.......

We need a good PURGE of the GOP.
Indeed we do, and when Theodore Roosevelt attempted this n 1912: he got Thomas Woodrow Wilson in the White House! Not much better
To: Theodore R.
I think people here sometimes being farther on the right of the spectrum don't realize that moderates make up a much larger percentage of the electorate than they would like. Since this is a very conservative sight of which I agree with 90% of the time, it seems unfathonable that McCain can get re-elected, but he still has millions of people that support him

but he still has millions of people that support him
That is right, and many McCainiacs really don't know about his issue stands. They just see him as a JohnWayne-CharltonHeston take-no-prisoners type of politician. It's all in the "image" in the politics of the 21sth Century. Also for many, particularly women, McCain makes them "feel safe."

re: 18...
It shows doesn't it?
The first time I saw McCain on TV, not
knowing much about him, I thought I saw
a snake-like essense squirming around inside his skin.
I never saw anything like that before and it was so odd!!
He looked possessed!!

Give Hitlery a broom, and she could fly over John's comb-over!
Heh heh.

They both stink. Almost (just almost, mind you) equally.

um... At first glance it seemed you wrote something else.
I think he did get a little excited,
being so near Hitlery.
Hope he didn't bang his head too hard.
To: reformjoy
Have you noticed the way he giggles all the time when he's speaking?

Can you morph Hitlery's face on that one??
I'd love to see it!

McCain isn't pro gun. And based on a few things..CFR, etc...I'd call him a socialist-lite. I will give you that he claims to be pro life though.Compared to Hillary he's to the right of Barry Goldwater. He isn't my first choice, but if it's him or Lenin, I mean Clinton, I vote for McCain.

The Manchurian Senator is posturing himself for a VP or SecDef job in her administration. He literally makes me sick.
To: Theodore R.
I bet Barry's spinning in his grave, too.
