My born again buddy’s ministers have been preaching it for years now; trying to connect the dots to the prophecy before it happens.

Not to mention about 12 bestsellers on the topic that are written to a Jr. High level in my opinion. I take my example from all the Bible scholars who were sure what the coming of the Messiah would be like, then turned around and crucified Him when He came. Prophecy is for evaluating in hindsight to be comforted that G-d knew this was coming and He is in control. It is not for preparing your investment portfolio.
