Prayers continue for the success of the elections and the safety of our troop and the Iraqi voters.
Prairie
"Lord, lay your blessings on this election day in Iraq.
Protect our troops and the voters who are demonstrating freedom to the world. This day is filled with many dangers for all those who would participate, so Lord, cover them with your Shield.
MAY THY WILL BE DONE"
Amen
AMEN!
Prayers on they way, now and all day!
Continue to protect these brave voters. We pray that the tide of freedom in Iraq will continue to crash the shores of tyranny and sweep it away.
A very special prayer being sent for your nephew, Spunky. May he and his comrades be protected in their brave mission. May their courage and self-sacrifice be rewarded in the gratitude of all freedom-loving people.
Prayers have been heard, and God is smiling. Iraqis are streaming to the polls to vote.
LET FREEDOM REIGN!!
Praise doesn't seem adequate for this blessed day of freedom for these people!
For indeed, God Has answered our prayers! All Praise goes to Him!
God Bless our Military for giving of themselves to bring this election about. This unselfishness is to be admired.
God Bless the families who have lost their loved ones in service to their Country. No one can give more.
God Bless George W. Bush for seeing this happen even before it happened! And standing firm against the words of the opposition when they ridiculed him!
God Bless every person that has prayed..... out of a desire for peacefulness in that far away land.
Thank you FR for encouraging the prayer threads and being a part of those prayers as they waff heavenward. What a pleasure and blessing at the same time!
Thank you FRiends for being a part of my life in this endeavor. We have been richly re-paid for our time! Our prayers have enriched our own lives! And Iraqis have voted and there was more freedom won, than death brought to bare.
Of nothing else can we be as together, as when we go before the Lord and ask humbly for His blessing on a people that we do not know.
But He knows them....................
and that's wonderful to think about.
God Bless all of us!
Thank you for this thread!
There are not enough thanks and praise that we can say to our Almighty God!! I am in such awe of our Heavenly and Mighty God! But thank Him we do! Praise Him always and forever!!
Almight Lord, God of all things, thank You!!
You are correct.
He is to be praised!
I am thankful for everyone, being here and used of our Lord to bring praise to thanks to Him and Him alone! I am thrilled to be related to so many people through the cross of Christ!!!
For He alone is worthy and all honor and adoration go to the Lord, God Almighty! He is worthy to be praised!!! Hallelujah!
The grace of God was seen in a thousand ways today in Iraq.
We thank God for the vast courage of the Iraqi voters. We rejoice in the images of Iraqis dancing in the streets and congratulating each other with their blue fingers held high. We thrill to the images of Iraqi soldiers protecting their own free elections. We rejoice with our President and the others whose resolve was never shaken. We give thanks for the courage and the vast skill of our military, from foot soldiers all the way to the highest offices in the Pentagon.
We pray for the souls of those killed and injured by the terrorists. We pray for the souls of the British soldiers killed in the airplane crash today.
We pray that Iraqis, having seized the moment, will never give it up and never look back. May they rebuild their country despite every setback and every enemy.
Amen to your praise, Sister-girl! I second what you say!!!
God bless us all!!!
