Banning the amazingly offensive habit of prayer in public places is such an obviously good thing,.........

........The good news: lots of people are seeing the argument for what it is: a matter of policing repugnant public behavior.

Be very careful what you wish for.

BTW, why are you on a conservative discussion board?

"One of the best things govt. does is police behavior."

And the fascist mindset rears its ugly head. Why can't you see the difference between government imposed smoking bans and private policy regarding obesity? What would be your attitude if the government passed a smoking requirement that forced all public places to allow smoking?

I'll ask again, since you obviously don't believe in private property rights, personal liberty or freedom, why are you on a conservative discussion board?

What gives smokers the idea they have the right to cause the rest of us to inhale their stench?

What gives you the right to be on a board that doesn't want you here.
Same thing.

Before the anti-stench laws, ALL restaurants had smoking allowed, so there was NOWHERE for one to eat a meal without enduring the stench from moronic smokers.

Before the law clearing the air in workplaces in NH, ALL workplaces allowed smoking, so there was NOWHERE to escape the evil stench.

Mind if I crap in your face?

Mind if I allow smoking on my private property and don't force you to eat there?

If you don't want to smell smoke, avoid businesses that allow it.
