Maybe but not necessarily. The striking thing about the WA vote, especially in communist King County (Seattle), was how very close the governor's race was when Kerry defeated Bush by a wide margin. Could not have happened without Dems voting for Rossi. A lot of Seattle libs must be getting very tired of state tax hikes, corruption, and deeply entrenched Dem beaurocratic inefficiencies. Of course, had it been a close calll between Kerry and Bush, the Feds would surely get involved.
