Applewhite or Hack?
ROTFLMAO....
Hackworthless of course..and he always wears a Black Turtleneck.
Something *very* wrong with that guy!
Why did you get a book autographed by him? I went out of my way to avoid Bob Barr when he was signing books at the convention this past summer.
=== As a Veteran, I am most especially appalled at her comparing Hackworthless to Ann Coulter.
That's because you have a problem with reading into my posts things that just aren't there. This could be because you're a woman or sumpin', I don't know.
The folks I mentioned were specifically chosen not for their respective soapboxes, style or substance but SOLELY because once upon a time they were popular among the right in general (and this site in particular) but they all became pariahs of a sort once the Executive Branch changed hands.
No need to get all offended ... as a veteran or otherwise. The taking of offense is a sure sign of the End Times, after all ... regardless how popular it's become among those Special Interest Groups or "hate crime" trial attorneys who've made a bidness out of it.
(4'11"? What do 4'11" waifs do in the military?)
Someone I worked with gave it to me as a special gift for a project I did for him.
I did not want to insult him by telling him how I really felt about WOrthless.
We went to the bookstore at work, met him and he signed the book for me.
My world ain't ending yet toots...not to worry....
4'11" waifs who are in the army do lots of things..
I did typing, and processed personnel paperwork, pay actions, telephone operator, Overseas Deployment briefings...all kinds of neat stuff.
Maybe you can unload it on Ebay? It doesn't seem to be worth much (surprise!), but maybe you can get a few bucks: http://search.ebay.com/hackworth_W0QQsokeywordredirectZ1QQfromZR8
In Ms. Coulter's case, I'm sure it was hyperbole. If not, maybe she was referring to Yucca Flats. Then again, maybe she was...*
I'm sure that many Muslims thought that 9-11 was a load of fun too.
They did. In many Arab and Muslim countries. Demonstrating in the streets and handing out candy.
*...serious, or Ms. Coulter may believe that sometimes thick headed people learn better with a demonstration.
5.56mm
And they have kids, so there must have been some boinking going at some time.
I work at an Army post. One woman was a soldier during Desert Storm, and deployed there. She was an outside lineman. Climbed poles for comm and power lines. For years she was a civilian outside electrician for the Army. Now she's an inside technician, she keeps up with our computers.
Who is about 5 feet tall, maybe less.
Your replies are always better than mine. I would have simply said, "Meeeeeeow!!!!" ; )
It's my understanding that women are better "designed" to be pilots ... just curious.
It's a tough call for me. Very pro-military Army brat and all but I never figured it was my place to join up, really.
Have you ever read my "Mothers in Combat Boots" post? I'd like to know what you think of all that. I think of all the points made in the article (or added, by me, in quotes which dispel notions of my being a misogynist =), the one that disturbs me the most is the quote from Barbara Pope.
You probably know who Barbara Pope is. She was "reactivated" after a fashion by George W. What's interesting to me is that she shows up as some Navy manpower secretary of some sort after EIGHT years of Reagan and during the FOUR years of Bush I and makes the comment that "we are trying to weed out the white male as norm" in the military.
That -- along with the direct quotes from Bush I as part of the GOP's Task Force on Earth Resources & Population which laid the groundwork for "leftist" environmentalism, corporate governance, abortion, birth control and other insididiously draconion "educational" measures of State population control -- is one of those red herrings which I cannot seem to rationalize somehow.
I've tried for years now to get some of the more ardent GOP supporters around here to explain these events and quotes or point out to me where any of them were renounced in the least but ... I'm still waiting.
OK. how about Michael Moore?
Good job, you really turned things around on the dummy Coulter. No one anywhere, EVER will reach your intellectual heights!
Everyone is so far beneath you, I am suprized you can see anyone else.
I am in awe.
You can save trite replies like this for the Deep Thinkers and Ardent Conservatives like Ann Coulter who thrive on rimshots, snaps and the Boo|Hiss of your average Mellerdrammer member of the Peanut Gallery who agree it's she uses "Merry Christmas" as her big "F&ck You."
who agree it's A RIOT she uses "Merry Christmas" as her big "F&ck You."
