Her office confirms the incredibly important news that the gown will be ice blue. Saucer of milk, anyone?

Hope Jenna's gown has sticky tape this time so she can dance with her Dad with no problem!
I'm sure they'll be gorgeous!

I'm sorry, but I refuse to believe that anything anyone wears constitutes "incredibly important news."

incredibly important?
this self-absorbed fashion pundit does know that "Zoolander" is among Mrs. Bush's favorite movies, yes?
the irony is amusing.

I'm disappointed in this news. Didn't Rosalyn Carter wear ice blue? Ugh!
I prefer Laura Bush in more vibrant colors, like red, hot pink, emerald, etc. They set off her beautiful auburn hair, although the case could be made that she looks beautiful in anything.

I wonder how close "Ice Blue" is to this very popular color for the ties of officials on Inauguration and other important days?
oops ... wrong presidents
Clearly, it's an attractive color for the First Lady:

Hey, isn't blue suppose to be the color of the liberals, as in the blue states.
Do you think that Laura Bush is wearing a blue dress to taunt all of the loser liberals.
Nah, the first lady is too classy to do such a thing.

Owl, in light of your bad football-news day, here is something to look forward to:
Meanwhile, daughters Jenna and Barbara have chosen the younger, edgier design team of Badgely Mischka.
"They want slinky and sexy," a spy tells us. "The dresses are going to be figure-hugging with slits and sequins and decolletage."
This may be an inaugural ball season to remember!
