The guy had no recollection of having a nail driven into his head. Jimmy Kimmel said that the nail must have damaged that part of the brain that is responsible for remembering whether someone has driven a nail into your head.

They speculate that the nail stuck in the man's head four years ago in an accident
but the man didn't know about it WTH?
How could he NOT know that he has a nail in his head?

so.. I'm curious.. does the nail get removed or do you just leave the it there? i.e. is removing it too dangerous. Any medical types know?

This is exactly why I'm afraid to have my head examined!

I suspect alcohol may have been a factor in his memory lapse. It's just a hunch.

Maybe the mirror he uses every morning to shave only comes up to his eyes.

I hope they sterilized the pry bar before yanking that thing out.

How could he NOT know that he has a nail in his head?
Perhaps the whack with hammer had something to do with it?

How could he not know?? The damn this is nowhere near his hair line! "Say, what`s that silver thing sticking out of my forehead?" It might have been under the skin. Remember, the skin extends further than the skull in an x-ray; soft tissue doesn't show up.

This guy's got three rows of teeth, no wonder he couldn't feel it.
To: Michael.SF.
the nail goes in and imbeds against the bone under the skin. the spot looks nasty but you cant see the nail. it hurts so he doesnt pick at it much. it heals over. ?
To: Imaverygooddriver
This whole thing could have been avoided if he'd simply learn to stay away from X-ray machines.
