MSM picking on and making up lies to sell stories at the expense an 80 year old farmer, who's paid his taxes and helped build the society these leeches suck the life out of. Shame.

Dave Helling has been a member of KCTV5 News since March of 1999. Dave came on board as weekend evening anchor and KCTV5 news reporter. He co-anchors KCTV5 News at 4:00 p.m. with Dana Wright and continues to cover local, state, and national politics. Prior to joining KCTV5, Dave was a member of WDAF-TVs news team.

Dave received a BA from Creighton University in 1977, and was the Student Body President in 1976-1977. Dave has received a number of awards including the Freedom of Press Award from the ACLU in 1991 for his Truthwatch series, as well as a silver medal from the International New York Film Festival. He was also a Washington D.C. reporter from 1981 to 1984.
Daves hobbies are reading, listening to popular music, and pushing around the weeds in the garden. He is happily married to his wife Teri, and they live in Lenexa. They have two children, Jackie, a college student, and Rachel, a junior in high school.
