Here's my two cents: What about getting in touch with Mansoor Ijaz? Yes...he's of Pakistani origin, but he believes that the United States has the best plan for the middle east. He has connections here and abroad, and a lifetime of experience in gathering and delivering information to the U.S.

Getting asylum may be tough. There are loose cannons in the CIA that don't like to be up-staged, and they work hard to block asylum for anyone who has intelligence that runs counter to their agenda.
