Despite the fact that I am a North Carolinian by birth, and spent the first 22 years of my life there, I had my first "hot" KK donut on Friday, when the new KK opened between Ingram and Culebra on 410. Man, that was hot, sweet, and gooey. Not at all like the room temperature pastries. However, at room temperature, I'd still rather have Dunkin Donuts. Or Shipley's. Or Mr. Donut from Coastal SC...
