Shut the H*@# up, Mr. experienced war reporter man. You've already said too much as it is. IMO, the Marine in question should have saved one of the bullets, and made you a part of your d*$n story.
Ordinarily, I am a pretty calm, Christian lady.
American citizens can apply some pressure to American news outlets. That might work, over time (or it might not).
But you cannot apply pressure to the Arab media -- that's where the problem is, and we need new ways to get our message out to the Arab world. Contacting GE won't help with that.
Sites is full of it... Covering his own ass, while "trying" to portray those, literally protecting him, as only half-way dignified. It must be a tactic he learned from the French. I think the Devil Dogs should take little Kevin snipe hunting in downtown Fallujah some night real soon.
[I'm not some war zone tourist with a camera who doesn't understand that ugly things happen in combat. I've spent most of the last five years covering global conflict. But I have never in my career been a 'gotcha' reporter -- hoping for people to commit wrongdoings so I can catch them at it.]
Mr. Sites, your need to state the above demonstrates what you have become. The left simply does not understands that the road to hell is paved with good intentions.
Mr. Sites, you knew what would happen if you released the tape, but you did it anyway. I'm sure you realized that this tape would bring you notoriety, you didn't mention it in your posting, but we're not as naive as you would like us to be.
The possibility to get your name out in the public was just too big of a draw for you so you sold out the marines.
Mr. Sites you got your story...but you have lost the respect of your fellow Americans.
