This marine did his duty. He made a judgement call, protected himself, his unit, and the United States of America. America should be proud of this young marine, bursting at the seams with confidence. This marines actions reflect great courage upon himself, his unit, the Marine Corps, and the United States of America.
Bravo!

Rush's monologue for the first hour on Wednesday for subscribers to 24/7 was terrific. And later in the show he ripped that half-wit, Chris Matthews, a new one. Rush clearly identified who the bad guys are and that this soldier was not only doing what he was trained for, he was doing his duty. Matthews's attempt and the efforts of the rest of the media's attempt to portray this soldier as the bad guy and the terrorist as the victim should not be excused on the basis that the media did not understand the facts or went temporarily insane. What the media has done with this event is pure premeditated evil. The media does not deserve forgiveness for this episode; they deserve punishment.

"Could America have survived World War II and Korea with the meddling press corps we have today"
An excellent question. The answer would probably be yes. The President would have brought certain famous pressmen up on charges of treason, and this would have frightened the others into behaving themselves.

These assassins operate on one kind of mentality: Kill em all, let Allah sort em out. Such a philosophy goes back a long way:
Kill them all. God will know his own.
