It's oh-so-easy to pass judgment from the relative safety of the USA. I THANK YOU for your service, and I support you 100%!

He did exactly the right thing!!! He had an obligation to protect his comrades and himself.

These are people who use suicide bombing as a normal combat tatic.

God bless this Marine and all his comrades ia arms.

ATTENTION MARINES!!!

Following is an E-Mail I sent to the Marine Commandant today:

Pertaining to the following release, is it at all possible to get an address where I might E-Mail or write a letter to the young Marine involved and, the rest of his team?

I am so upset with the way some are trying to condemn this young man I'd like to ask them to step into the alley for a "chat". Pretty brave for a senior citizen- right!? Anyway, it wouldn't be necessary for the names - I would address each and every "Dear Marine" - but would like him/them know how much support there is in this country. We love and cherish each and every one of them for what they are doing to keep us safe here.

We leave the hard and heavy work to them but it's time we, their fellow citizens, go to work on the "pinheads" here at home.

If there is a central address, is it OK of I pass it around to my friends and relatives?

Thanks and God bless,

Release # 1116-04-0344

POSSIBLE LAW OF ARMED CONFLICT VIOLATION UNDER INVESTIGATION Nov 16, 2004
RECEIVED THE FOLLOWING REPLY:
Due to the ongoing investigation, the name and contact information of the Marine can not be disclosed due to Privacy Act information.

Thank you.

Does anyone know of a central location where messages can be sent addressed to "Dear Marine" that could be forwarded?

I can just imagine what this poor young man must be going through right now - and also the other members of his group.

Thank you Doug. This boy deserves our support. He is a red blooded American hero who should be decorated. The terrorists brought this on themselves by their tactics. My warmest regards to his parents and to this fine Marine.

All that terrorist had to move was his thumb to kill everyone in that room.

As a former Marine, I would feel secure to have a Marine like him on each side of me.

Dear Marine,

You made the right call.

You protected your brothers....while removing a potential threat.(Let's be honest here...the one you shot was a terrorist...who earlier was shooting at you and yours.)

We've got your six.

As a WW2 combat veteran, I am incensed by the "World Net Daily" piece stating this POS reporter is an "anti-war activist"(with his own websites) and our military would allow this bastard to be embedded with the Marines---every one of the MSM are not worth the life of 1 Marine and if these bastards are to be allowed in the war zone, they should go on their own and not with protection from our military heroes---what the hell is wrong with this country?? and what are we 'freepers' going to do about it??--we helped wint Bush the election and are we to stand by and let a wounded marine "eat shit" from a damned liberal POS now?---if Bush's government wants to "investigate" something let them begin with the 'rotten to the core' MSM and their allies!!--later, I will tell you how I really feel
