My whole family is behind this Marine -- he did what he had to do and did it well. Is there anything more concrete that we can do? I went to the Marine Corps website, but I'm on dialup and the contact never did finishi loading.

You cant actually shoot the reporter but maybe they can be tricked into taking the point. No need. That bastard correpondent can watch his own rear, or change profession. My advice to him: make all your prudent arrangements ASAP.
Reporting what you see is one thing; making judgements which aids the enemy in any way about what you see is a career killer. In any army.

To the young marine in Falluja:
Thank you for doing what must be done. I envy your courage, honor and patriotism. I do not envy your job. You have to make decisions I could not contemplate in situations I could not imagine.
Thank you for protecting my family and my country.
Sincerly,
an American civilian.

You are our hero. You are the type of military man we would want protecting us. I am so sorry you not only have the pressure/memories of the nightmare of war you have the addional nightmare of the MEDIA & peacenik crazy left.
God be with you & know you have legion here on your side & we will be there calling, writing emails to the miliary , our congressmen & our newspapers.
Stand strong. And may you get the last laugh with lucrative book offers & a movie... with you getting a visual part!
God Bless you !!! dolly howard, Cleveland Ohio area

My son is over there.
I have told him what was the truth when I was active duty: SUSTAIN YOUR FIRE UNTIL YOU, IN YOUR OWN OPINION, ARE ABSOLUTELY CERTAIN THAT THE ENEMY IS ABSOLUTELY RENDERED HARMLESS.
Anything other than that will risk my son. Shoot first and ask questions later.
Better safe than sorry.
He has a wife and son (and parents) who NEED him to come home.
