Interesting article. I hope the writer's desires come to fruition. I've spent time in Poland on business. The Poles are GREAT and its a wonderful place to do business (and the food, at least to this Greek, is out of this world!).

It is very important to support Poland. They were left behind the Iron Curtain for so long. We are obliged to help them. Poland is a great country that has been denied it's rightful place for many years. Their support for the USA must be rewarded - it is only right. There really is a moral obligation here for they are our brothers.

" Fastest growing economy in europe"...
Poland is a business oppurtunity...

P.S. Many Italian soldiers are died in Iraq, and they were more than Poland's ones.

Look, if the Poles were smart, they'd be running tv ads showing their support for the US in Iraq and the New Polish Economy. Buy a Polish ham for Easter to thank our friends.

If I knew how, I'd set up a website 'thankyouallies.com' with info and links on all the countries with troops in Iraq. Especially for the smaller countries, have links for people to purchase their products and links to stories about their activities in Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Why do you think Germany is screaming so loud? The Troop Garrisons are moving to Poland, the Czech Rep., ... With these moves comes jobs on the military installation, Soldiers bring their families or marry local girls, they shop on the local economy, the rent apts on the local economy......

I'm all for promoting business between the US and Poland. It's not just that Poland backed President Bush (which I really do appreciate), it's the fact that they have stood beside us in Iraq. They have shared the dangers, they have shared the threats, they have been TRUE friends and that should be rewarded.

Any American businesses currently located in either Germany or france should seriously consider relocating to Poland, and American firms looking into a european location should look to Poland first.
