There was a time when the democrat party was not so left-leaning. Look at what just happened over the last ten years. I'd call that a spanking, yet the leadership of the democrat smarmy are blind to the realities of how far from America's moderate conscience they've scurried. [Rats scurry, don'tchaknow.]

Oh, by the way, even your example, Zell Miller, has made it clear he is not leaving the party he has been in all his life.

Zell Miller runs against George Bush - you believe Zell beats him?
Then I guess all we really have is a War president; is that what you're saying?

EV, I hope you don't mind, but I don't really put much credence in what you have to say.
I know people in Washington on the "inside"......and I know plenty of Democrats who voted GOP this year.

Actually, I'd like to win this one ... and if I do, I'll donate the twenty bucks in celebration! But you've got to also.

"I certainly do defend my posts here. Are you in the habit of posting things you don't believe?"No, I'm not. But I wouldn't call your style "defensive," Howlin. You play offense.
In fact, the first reply I ever got from you was, "It's none of your damn business." The question, BTW, was just, "Are you pro-life?"

You sound like a Dem! How many "moderates" do you actually think will cross over to the GOP? MINIMAL, in relationship to the loss. 16MM Dems PLUS will have to cross over to the GOP, well not that many as we won't vote GOP.
You don't know how many, or if any, DEMS will cross to the GOP. All you do is want whatever you want and screw life and thus the GOP. You need to rethink your unsubstantiated facts. You don't even have a poll indicating what might happen. If you read FR, the Newspapers and watch TV, you will get the idea that this prolife "uprising" could cause serious damage to the GOP. We have empirical data, you only have an opinion. Opinions are like a$$hxxles, every one has them.
Wouldn't you be happier in the Dem party?

Well how about "it poured the gasoline on the ground and struck the match all of its own free will" politics. This is what we do NOT want the GOP to do. If we wanted it to do so, we would keep our lips zipped at Specter.
To: CWOJackson
Neither has sanctimoniousness. But we're LOADED with it.......LOL.
