Is this Robbie Williams famous? Famous everywhere but in the States. It's his Achilles' heel.

No Wierd Al?
Couldn't happen based on the division of the decades.
Wierd Al's genius transends the years and flows from the 70's forward to the 2000's and beyond.

As none of these artists made final cut: I can only assume this silly little "list" list was never actually intended to be taken seriously.
No other answer is possible. :)

The Beatles' award was collected Thursday night by their producer, Sir George Martin.
"After 42 years, the light of their genius still shines as bright as ever," Martin said.
Sorry but I fail to see the "genius" in a group that started out as cheap Buddy Holly/Chuck Berry clones and ended up doing music that seemed to say "Let's see just how far out we can get before people stop buying."

You mean you don't have Robbie Williams over there?
You're kidding right?
Wow! And they say you lot are stupid!
You've all just gone right up in my estimation.
All that remains now is to book my flight & decide which state I'm going to live in.

Led Zepplin being left out can only mean this is a farce.

I actually quite like Robbie. Whatever happened to the other guy from Take That whom everyone said was the talented one?
He seems to have vanished off the face of the earth.

He's had two songs that have charted in America: "Millennium" and "Angels," and neither reached the Top 40.
BTW, Kylie is one of my guilty pleasures. We all have our crosses to bear. :-)

Sinatra, the Rolling Stones, Elvis, and countless others recorded for decades and can't come close!
