Sure they have 'values'!
-SELF, trees, SELF, animal rights, SELF, money, power and SELF.

I don’t think we are using the right words. Liberals have values. They are emotionally invested in their social causes. What they don’t have is a moral compass.

When you knowingly agree to be a member of a political party that supports murder of the unborn on demand, murder of the partially born on demand and deviant and perverted sexual behavior as a norm then it can be said that you have values.

You have values that disgust the majority of Americans. You have values that require an absence of morality.
You have values that tolerate the intolerable.

That is what the Democratic Party has become.

Janet NapoliReno ... ah, yes. The governor who won her seat (!) by such a slim margin against Conservative Matt Salmon, wasn't decided for days.

And why did she win?? Because "upscale" East Valley "Republican" women crossed over to vote for her for Governor, but then voted for the Republican Arizona Senators, Reps, State and Federal.

So I'm wondering just who has the values ... the women who voted for her did it because of abortion.

Sickening ... we in AZ have two more years of her inept and sickening attempt at being a governor.

/rant.

The demonrats are stuck.

If they change a single line in their platform they stand to lose huge sums of money.

Their base is made up of assorted immoral groups who will not donate if their cause is minimized in any way.

I don't think they are "emotionally invested" in their causes. Their causes are merely a tool to gain power and control, they could care less about the lesser people. What they seek is control of the lesser people's property, thinking, PC control to enforce the intolerable, and they seek the dependency and gratitude of the lesser people.

Liberals are self seeking fascists, their masks have come off to expose the real horror beneath. Hitler would have craved such devotees to the false piety of seeking control and power over others.

When your greatest virtue is tolerance, then you have no others.

But there is no virtue in selected tolerance--which is the only kind they have.

values:

n : beliefs of a person or social group in which they have an emotional investment (either for or against something);

Yes, for the elite it is all about power. However, I think the lower ranks are "emotionally invested." The power elites manipulate the emotions of the masses so that they (the elites) can maintain power.

"Emotional" is not necessarily a good thing, and I was not using the term as positive. They are emotional. Other words are "nuts," "psycho," "lunatic," and "fanatic."

"Arizona Gov. Janet Napolitano, reflecting on her party's recent losses in the presidential, Senate and House elections, asked: "How did a party that is filled with people with values -- and I am a person with values -- get tagged as the party without values?" "

The Democrats weren't "tagged" -- the electorate is finally recognizing the ""values" the Democrats cherish.

* Purity and fidelity: Democrats do not judge 14-year olds who want to have sex, but give them condoms and let the child make his or her own choice. Republicans unequivocally state that teen sex is risky, immoral, and dangerous to the teen's health.

* Sanctity of life: Democrats defend freedom of choice -- technically not taking a stand as to whether abortion is murder. [They actually like abortion but don't say it out loud. But their abortion counselors, when advising a young girl to have an abortion, tell the girl that having a baby is equivalent to the girl dying because she will be tied to the baby for the next 20 years.] Republicans say unequivocally that abortion is murder of the innocent.

* Environment: Democrats believe people are a curse and think the environment -- plants and animals -- ought to be preserved at the expense of human comfort and sometimes human life. Republicans unequivocally say that humans are more important than animals and plants.

* Military: Democrats believe war is bad and will avoid it at almost any cost. Republicans know that even good people have to fight for what is right sometimes -- the challenge being, of course, the motives for engaging the fight.

* Poverty and the poor: Democrats think that rich people are inherently selfish, and malign them to achieve electoral victory with the poor. Republicans sympathize with the plight of the poor but know that if their lifestyle isn't earned then they will not appreciate it.

Need I go on? Governor Napolitano is clueless.

Is Dan Quayle ever going to run for Governor of Arizona?

I thought his debate against Algore in '91 was brilliant.

They could if they openly shunned Michael Moore, the Hollywood left, and black race baiters such as Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton. The question is, would they go to such steps to regain the true democrats.

Never happen. Those are THEIR gods and they will always adore those anti American members of the dumbocRAT party.
