Because we don't want folks having a three-joint lunch. The three martini lunch was bad enough. Bunch of dope heads.

Obviously, the reason it won't get legalized is the drug companies can't make much money off of it. If they "refine" it, they can.
I think it should be completely legal, with age restrictions and heavy taxes.

They would rather have society on Prozac Zoloft and any other Anti-depressants that is pushed by the the legal drug pushers rather than see people smoke a little pot once in awhile.... And yet they'll scream bloody murder if some liberal proposes to legislate what car they should drive, what food they should eat, or how they should raise their children. I continue to be amazed as to how the control freaks on the right can somehow distinguish their insistence that I surrender my liberty to their fears that I'm incompetent to make decisions for myself from the control freaks on the left that view me equally as incompetent but for a whole different list of controls.

I really see no harm in legalizing and taxing the hell out of it.
It is not addictive. And besides, the leftists would be too stoned to actually do anything, like..oh...vote?
Then again, so would alot of republicans (ducks)

Because we don't want folks having a three-joint lunch. The three martini lunch was bad enough. So by your logic alcohol should be illegal as well? Or are you saying pot is somehow "worse" than alcohol?

People that drive while high on Pot just keep going slower and slower, which could be a danger on a freeway!
