I must sadly report the the DUlusions of the left on the DU board have been awakened with the ice cold water of a STUNNING REJECTION of their ideals by a clear majority of Americans.

Before their site failed they were perplexed. How could the party of the "mainstream" be soundly defeated with turn out so very high? These dweebs really do believe that the majority of Americans are with them.

Sometimes reality is cold, but I'm sure we feel that reality is like a day at the beach.... I'm walking on sunshine.

John

HaHaHa

---knowing the way Rove works, am I completely alone in thinking Rove released a statement saying Kerry had called Bush to concede, when in fact he hadn't.---

I need a good "Gloating" banner to post around my leftist corner of the world (Boulder County, Colorado).

Anyone have anything that I can print out?

Another great post kicking off a DU thread....

"As one of your biggest supporters on this board, I'm feeling the sting of betrayal at this moment. They called you a flip-flopper, I said you weren't. Last night you said you would keep your word and make every vote count, but before all the news reports of voter fraud even HIT the airwaves, you are conceding. You DID flip flop.

People in Arizona reported being chased out of lines they had waited in for hours at poll closing time. Boatloads of untouched ballots in Ohio where people invested their UNFUCKING PAID time off will never get counted.

Please don't go on TV with some fluffy diplomatic speech. F--k diplomacy and don't tell me you did it for the good of the country. Your banking industry buddies called you and said, "the market's up, please don't f--k with our profits." and you obliged.

The Dem party called you and said,"Look on the bright side, Dascle's gone and you can be senate leader." You counted your chickens and f--king SOLD ME OUT. My state delivered for you big time. Et tu, Kerry?"

Reality is that the Right To Bear Arms is safe for a couple of years, anyway. Kerry's goose trip goosed Republican turnout and turned out Kerry.

I hope all the trolls that are here on FR will come out of the woodwork and just get themselves banned here.

One of the sweetest things to me is that Soros wasted his money, and the Moore film was a complete waste.

The left made such an effort to derail him.

I remember so many on this forum calling Bush a "one-termer" at the beginning of his term.

All I can say is "in your face"!

ONE MORE TIME: STOLEN AGAIN -- HERE ARE FACTS -- USE THEM!

I tried earlier, and no one wanted to believe it. Maybe now you do? *THE FIX IS IN.*

If we're afraid to call it as is, there's no chance we'll ever see democracy or a Democrat elected in this country every again. PLEASE WAKE UP AND SMELL THE ROSES.

Here are some facts:

(1) All exit polls had Kerry ahead in in FL and OH.

(2) All Democrats were completely confident, based (I'm sure) on internal polls. Kennedy said Kerry won. He was sure. So was the DNC chair, who referred to Kerry as president-elect.

(3) Canadian TV (CTV) said it will be an early landslide (their word) for Kerry. They had inside information.

(4) Exit polls have always been correct -- until they pulled Florida away from Gore, and Bush took power by force. Since then no exit poll has ever been any good. Coincidence?

(5) In the midterm elections, the VERY SAME thing happened as tonight. Polls nationwide favored Democrats, and then the GOP won every state -- and the exit polls vanished!!! Pollsters had never been so wrong. IT WAS THE FIRST TIME MACHINES WERE USED.

(6) We all know who owns the Diebold (Diabolical) voting machines. And it ain't the Democrats.

(5) Every historical predictor pointed to a Kerry victory: the large turnout, Bush's approval ratings, the economy, and the fact that he consistently polled under 50 or even 48%. No president had ever won with such low numbers.

And then magically everything reversed itself and Bush wins. Do you guys believe this is for real?

I don't know what we can do. But at the very least I suggest:

-- Write letters to every paper and every person you know, outlining the facts above (plus everything you can add about the electronic voting machines -- lots of info out there).

-- Write Kennedy and others who KNOW Kerry had the real vote. We need them to come forward and speak out.

-- We need strategy. We can't just go and protest and be angry. It will look like we can't accept defeat. We need to get our facts and target our message. Or else forget about this country.

Ideas? Drop me a line.

DU actually created a special board called "Help and Support" for those who are emotionally distraught by the Bush win and are seeking help and support.

Guess they'll supply some message board shrinks to counsel them.
