"Today, the security of Muslim countries in the region is being
threatened by a blind terrorism scourge, Israel and America," said Ali
Younessi while hosting Muslim diplomats, based in Tehran, at a banquet
to break their fast."

Al-Qaeda 'on Britain's doorstep'

From correspondents in London
November 15, 2004

POLICE and intelligence agencies had prevented international terrorists from striking Britain by disrupting planned attacks, the head of London's police said today.

However, the minister in charge of law enforcement said the threat of a terrorist attack in Britain remained.

"Al-Qaeda and the international network is seen to be, and will be demonstrated through the courts over months to come, to be actually on our doorstep and threatening our lives," Home Secretary David Blunkett said on BBC TV.

He was referring to several terror suspects expected to go on trial in the coming year.

"They may be found not guilty. But our security and policing services have been securing our wellbeing over the last few years," Mr Blunkett said.

Earlier, Metropolitan Police Commissioner John Stevens said London's police had "thwarted a number of attacks".

"There's a large number of people going through the courts," he said on BBC TV. "We can't talk about the details of that, which is slightly frustrating.

"But we have had considerable successes and that's been the result of working extremely hard with the intelligence services."

Mr Stevens had previously said that discussing the cases of alleged terrorists in detail could compromise future trials.

Five days after the March 11 train bombings in Madrid, Mr Stevens said a terrorist attack in Britain was "inevitable".

Today, he said the terrorist threat remained "real".

"When I said attacks were inevitable, during that period of time there was an attack taking place on London. But we are there to ensure that that attack does not take place, and, thank God, up to date we have been successful," he said.

He did not give details of the planned attack. However, in late March police arrested six men and seized 600kg of potential bomb-making fertiliser. The men have been charged with conspiring to cause an explosion and their trial is tentatively set for September.

Mr Stevens said co-operation between European countries on combating terrorism had improved "massively" in the past nine months.

Interesting. The entire SweetIslam site is closed - "for administrative purposes".

Wonder if some of our alerts to the feds actually did generate interst.

I'd like to think so, but we will probably never know.

My apologies to all of the scum-suckers out there who do not deserve to be lumped in with the islamofascijihadists.

Biro also notes that the present regime allows the crucifixion of children as young as seven.”

Thanks for posting this article Cindy. Tyranny all over the world and many on this earth have no concept of compassion whatsoever, including about 50% of our own population. They protest the death or imprisonment of terrorists who would behead them, yet have no qualms about aborting innocent babies.

Bordering On Nukes?
New accounts from al-Qaeda to attack the U.S. with weapons of mass destruction

Snippet:

And another episode has some senior U.S. officials worried: the theft of a crop-duster aircraft south of San Diego, apparently by three men from southern Mexico who assaulted a watchman and then flew off in a southerly direction. Though the theft's connection to terrorism remains unclear, a senior U.S. law-enforcement official notes that crop dusters can be used to disperse toxic substances. The plane, stolen at night two weeks ago, has not been recovered.

The leader of a militant group involved in beheading hostages and other attacks has been arrested and the group was broken up, Iraqi Prime Minister Ayad Allawi said Monday. Allawi identified the group as Jaish Muhammad, Arabic for Muhammad's Army. The group "has been arrested ... We arrested their leader," Allawi said, identifying him as Moayad Ahmed Yasseen, also known as Abu Ahmed.
Muhammad's Army was known to have cooperated with Jordanian terror mastermind Abu Musab al-Zarqawi and al-Qaida and Saddam loyalists and was responsible for killing and beheading a number of Iraqis, Arabs and foreigners in Iraq Allawi said.

I hunt terrorists too. No bag limit.

In an ideal world there would be bounties on terrorists and bounty hunters would be cleaning up - raking in a bonanza of cash for bringing these perps in one by one.

Hi everyone. Did a new osama video ever come out?

No. I'm very confused at the moment. I don't know what to make off this whole nuke/Pakistan/60 minutes thing and the tape debacle was so strange. I think there must be a lot of deliberate misinformation going on. Fullwave seemed 100% that the tape exists and will surface. I think they must have been fed bad info at tracking terrorism.

My WAG is that there was a tape skedded to come out following an attack of some kind, but the attack was either foiled, delayed or called off, rendering the video moot.

MY OPINION - NOTE: Everyone should take a moment to read this.

100% correct Cindy - they are less than tolerant of us all now, let alone being continuously beat at presenting the news as it occurs (without filtering or sanitizing to meet any hidden agenda). Brainwashing the public to react in the manner the "powers-that-be" want us to react has not been going over too well lately for the major networks these days thanks to the internet and free thinking people just like us.

Look for some kind of manufactured crisis online that has people begging to be protected. My guess would be some horrific incident sparked by an "irresponsible" posting on some internet forum. Cries will go up, laws will be proposed, etc., ad nauseum.

Regarding the 60 minutes thing. First, the cleric fatwas on nukes have been out there for months, some say years. Old news. What made it new news is the it is coming from a disgruntled Clinton-holdover former CIA deputy director with an anti-bush bent. The some in the CIA through 'leaks' during the election cycle released information potentially damaging to the president. Now that there is a new man in charge of the CIA who won't take this crap for the old clintonistas, you'll see more of this. BTW, it is these same folks that mangled the intel on WMD and OBL. Such are the politics on this side of the Alantic.

Hi.

Only one I know of is the pre-election video (10/29).

That was enough for me.

1. Uhaul type cargo trucks.

Drove past a weigh station a couple of weeks ago and saw a U-Haul truck waiting its turn.... If this is a new requirement, it's an excellent one and one that has superb potential in many ways.

I think it is one of two thing. Generally Uhauls are exempt from these stations because their cargo weight doesn't meet the regulatable levels and secondly, they are non-commercial. However, companies sometimes rent these types of vehicles to suppliment their capabilities (watch Fedex and others this holiday season), in which case they must be monitored and permitted as required.
