Bush's re-election -appears- secure, pending OH where he's ahead.
Senate winners: Burr, Coburn, Bunning, DeMint, Isakson...Coors was only behind by about 3000 votes with only 60% in. Thune is leading. I bet Martinez wins in Florida, and I bet Murkowski wins in Alaska. We're going to pick up a handful of House seats. Bush leads the popular vote by 3% (about 3 million votes)--no "illegitimate" cries anymore.

I'll feel better in about 15 mins, I'm hearing conflicting reports, Bush lead slipped to 129,00 in Ohio @80% counted?
Plus Michigan isn't likely, nor is Minn. But New mexico is, and that will be some extra padding.
Mich Burg from Minn, says Bush is gaining, so don't give up yet. he's gained 4 points in the last hour.
Bush has a 70,ooo vote lead in new Mexico, 75% counted.

I don't know, he's not counting new Mexico, which is won, or Nevada which is too early to call, and is writing off Minn And Wisconson. it can't be a tie. But if it was we still win because we have the house.

New Mexico is ours for sure now,83% counted, and a 5 point lead, and Nevada may be ours too, but no numbers darn it! as well as Alaska, which is almost for sure, it would be nice to get Minn or Wisconson, but I don't see it.

TOTALLY TICKED ME OFF? I had abc on and He made a smarmy remark to John McCain about McCain being friends with Kerry but not with Bush. Further, LATER ON, Jennings interviewed three euro-trash leftists who were "depressed" or said very inflammatory stuff about President Bush. He never could call him President settling on Mr. Bush. PETER JENNINGS IS JUST LIKE RATHER AND CRONKITE. From another planet!
I watched Shepherd Smith last night on the local fox station. By the time it was 4:00 am, I was under his spell. His voice lulled me to sleep.
