But remember, this is what happened to Gore, and he never got them
I'm not going to bed until Ohio is in the bag. (BTW, I told my boss that, when I left the newsroom today at 5 p.m. GMT).

I'm stuck here in Canada, far from home (Montana) but amazingly, Canada tv is calling it for Bush, at least in these parts.
Some one on one of the other threads is saying Michigan and the Cheeseheads... being called for Kerry...hang on !!!!

That's doesn't sound right, MI was only 30% counted just a few mins ago, and kerry had a small 40,000 vote lead.
Yes, thank goodness Florida didn't even come all that close to doing that, although it didn't do as well as the other southern states being apparently the only one that went below 55% at 52%.
Now comes the home stretch!

Bush MUST get Ohio, and it looks like New Mexico is going to go for Bush, but I didn't hear the numbers yet. That will counter a MI loss.
The report now oh Hugh Hewitt is saying Rove has told Bush he has won.
Ohio has a Bush lead of 130,000, 75% counted.

Ok, this cnn guy is saying Bushes lead is up in Ohio to 170,000, with 75% of votes in the democrat stronghold Cincinati counted. he can't win?
