Numbers are coming out of Milwaukee already...that is the reason Kerry is now up by 3% currently
In the last 10 minutes, Gov. Guinn (Rino-NV) told NPR that he expectd a 2-3% win when the outlying counties were counted.
Here's the link for the official Nevada results page:
http://nvresults.nv.gov/
Nevada only has 3% in. Wis is within 1% with over half left to go.
If Drudge's map holds up as of midnight est, the election will go to the House of Reps.
Just heard on the radio that the 3% for Kerry has shrunk to less than 1%.
That may be Dane county coming in. Also heavily Dem.
precincts 1826/3540
Bush 711,604 49.00%
Kerry 727,928 50.13%
precnts 1885/3540
B 742,173 49.25%
K 751,610 49.88%
MN: Bush down 6 with 54% in and outstate yet to be counted...not so hot. We are however gaining a little ground each count...it would be tough to pull it off, but will be mathematically/practically impossible if it's not cut to 2% by 75% reporting.
Margin at 5 pts with 1,000,000 votes to go; Bush needs 7:5 ratio to pull out MN...it IS possible, NOT probable.
Youll see this reflected if you take a look the numbers in the link at post #28 or if you take a look at the county breakdown maps tomorrow...
We only have a couple of major city centers. They are full of heavily unionised industries and these have high minority populations. While many of these people are homegrown liberals, we have a lot of transplants from the days when we were the state with the easiest to get and most generous welfare programs.
These cities also have a lot of or very large colleges. The students, many of whom have also voted in their own home states, vote here but not just once. These students go through the lines 3-30 times depending on how long they think the beer will hold out back at the dorm. This accounts for Milwaukee and Dane (Madison).
There are two other major pockets of liberalism. On the far West side of the state you will see were a combination of colleges and Minnesotans, some of which also vote in Minnesota, fleeing the socialist dystopia they have created, all vote liberal. You will also note that in the far Northwest corner of the state there is an area where Indian Reservations go heavily for whoever plays the race card and promises the best kickbacks on casino gaming compacts.
This leaves the low population rural areas in between, the stereotypical Wisconsin. There are few of us here. While one might think that 2nd Amendment rights alone would be enough to get us all to vote for a conservative candidate, its also true that many of these people are involved in farming and "everyone knows" that Democrats give the most lucrative agri-kickbacks in the form of various socialist subsidies and land programs.
As if conservatives here didnt already have a hard enough row to hoe, vote fraud is rampant. I already had mentioned the college situation. Milwaukee and the surrounding area is always a target of DNC manipulation. In 2000 of course we had NY operatives paying the homeless packs of smokes to vote Dem. This year Ive heard reports of busloads of Chicagoans showing up and voting. Some areas had Moveon types causing such problems the sheriff had to be called out. Poll operatives in some areas were prefilling ballots, etc.
Ultimately there just arent enough of us "out here" to control whats going on "in there".
I know you know, we are not picking on you. I have been up there and I understand what you are saying. Its has some great areas. Loved Lambert(ha,ha)Field and was able to see Brett at the practice squad field across the street.
Im still holding out for the Badger state to move to W. It can happen.
When I used to travel a lot I discovered that many people have some strange ideas of what Wisconsin is like. To sum up some of the things Ive been told about Wisconsin: those of us who live in Milwaukee run out our front doors and jump on our motorcycles and have a running gun battle with gangs all the way to and from our jobs at the brewery, the rest of us live in a land locked in ice and every morning we get up at 3AM and chase the grizzlies off of the porch and then go to stand on a glacier with our cows. I actually had a member of Scotland Yard once tell me that he knew all about Milwaukee because he had seen Happy Days.
I have questions about some other states too. For example, what the heck is going on in Maine? Ive known a few "Maine-iacs" over the years, mostly rural folks, and I just cant imagine that a state that produced them can be so liberal. Im guessing its a situation something similar to what happens here.
I think FOX gave Wis. to Kerry while sitting around waiting for more votes to be cooked up for Kerry in NM and NV and Iowa
I just heard on NBC that some precincts in Milwaukee had 115% turnout....explanation: registration on the spot and 100% turnout of already registered. I do not believe that any precinct has 100% turnout!
That's ok...just was on Yahoo....they had NM with 101% precincts reporting....101% LOL!!!
Bush is also up 15,000 in Iowa, with only 8 precincts not yet in. 6 of them in Green county, split right down the middle (Bush +0.5) and small. 2 in Ringo county, even smaller, also split, but with Bush +3. There is no way in heck the unreported precincts can reverse a 15k vote lead - except for fraud.

Bush won Nevada by a substantial margin.
