The Deaniac thing is so weird.
They never showed up for Dean, and he was counting on them for this election.
I am beginning to think they don't exist.
It's bizarre!

They will stand in line for concert tickets, welfare checks and food stamps but not to vote. It's just to "inconvenient".

I think they may have been overwhelmed by The Boss's intellect: "We had a sax player in the White House, now we need a guitar player in the White House." I kid you not. I heard him say it on the radio news two days ago.

Good! They were fed too much bovine scat from people like Urine Diddy to be able to make a good choice.

"Fewer than one in 10 voters Tuesday were 18 to 24, about the same proportion of the electorate as in 2000, exit polls indicated. Still, with voter turnout expected to be higher overall, more young people appeared to have come out."

Sentence 1: same proportion of youth vote (as) 2000

Sentence 2: increased proportion of youth vote (than) 2000

Orwell would be proud. Whatever!

I'd even say my own rebellion was in some part a reaction to my parents' liberalism. I would say life taught me the lessons they failed to teach me, and I naturally became a conservative (albeit a somewhat mischievous one.)

I think the 18-24 BUSH vote showed up :) but the "non-partisan" (read liberal) groups couldn't turn out their slackers.

My son had registered and planned to vote republican here in CA. He took one look at the line and bailed! I haven't been able to shame him itot going back, but there's still an hour and a half yet to go, and I'm very persistant...
