No kidding, and when the Bush victory stands, he should destroy Kerry and Edwards so that they can't get elected to any office ever again.

No problem.
The GOP is *ready* for this.
Bush and Rove and *a lot* of other people have held many, many strategy meetings in the aftermath of the 2000 election, planning for every eventuality. Wir haben alles einkalkulaten, mein Freund...
I'm sorry, but with my attitude toward Demonrats, I don't care if it drags on - I like watching them suffer, clinging to false hopes, as they slowly and inevitably drown.

Let's see if John F'n Kerry goes down in history as having less class and concern for the country than Richard Nixon did in 1960. Kerry will be reviled in history 44 years from now, just as Nixon's grace is now recognized.

C-SPAN is reporting 97% counted and a spread of 125,000.

Wake up Fox! NM, NV and Iowa are in Bush's column. Call it !!

What is your source for this info?

Wasn't there some faithless republican elector in WV who said he would vote for GWB? Does anyone know what happens if it's 269 Kerry; 268 Bush; and 1 "other"? The strangest outcome would be if Bush wins the popular vote, but loses the EV.

Same Tribe who wants to be Chief Justice of SCOTUS under Kerry?

Ed Bradley is a moron. He said that if there are 175K provisionsals, and the dems get 75%, well there's 135K right there (enough to close the gap). BUT, if they get 135K, they NET only 95K, which ain't enough.
To: conservative in nyc
I heard that, bunch of crap. Their exit polling was wrong, and they are wrong on this.

The MSM is holding off calling NM for Bush because it will put him over the 269 mark. They know he'll give a victory speech and, in effect and in TRUTH, will be the winner. They don't want him to have a psychological edge.

that there were people in Ohio standing out in the rain who found there were no machines and then "were denied paper ballots" What does that mean???

I think we are seeing the end of the modern Democratic party. It is one thing to challenge the results of an election when you have won the popular vote and lost a key state by a mere 500 votes. IT is quite another when your opponent has won a clear majority of the popular vote and in the closest state you are behind by 120,000. This is simply not going to fly. Let them litigate over their inability to manufacture even tens of thousands of votes. Republicans gain every time they do it. This election cycle proves it.

If we lose the electoral college system, we might as well join the EU. The consequences are that bad if you think about it.
To: conservative in nyc
FOX isn't calling it because the number of votes reported in this election is LOWER than 2000. I don't think thats true...>>???

Debate developing in Kerry camp and some democrats are speaking to him about how far he wishes to push the Ohio recount. Perhaps cooler heads will prevail and spare us. If this is true (what station are you watching?)...then once Ohio goes Bush, then NM and Iowa will fall in line...and then it will be over.
