I just voted "All Republican" in PA. and I got worried because I was so nervous I really pull the lever hard and stared at it afterward. No harm but that's how much I hate John Kerry! Oh and the Breck Girl..

I voted in Democrat stronghold Trumbull County (south of Warren) and there was literally no wait. Actually I was behind one guy, who was being waited on and had never voted.

Also I have seen more Bush signs that last time.

I live in Dickson, about 20 miles west of Nashville. My wife and I voted last week for W!

We got this in the bag. I'm in south Dayton: waited an hour to vote in a R area. Flushed a mixed area: 60% of our voters had already voted by 10:00. EVERY REPUBLICAN in the state will vote this time. Kerry is total toast.

Liz, you've heard me say here that we WANT a huge turnout, because we are confident that the registration numbers (as seen in the SoS's final numbers last night) TOTALLY favor us. I promised you OH, and the Ohio GOP will deliver.

I ASSUME they are Republicans because they are in an overwhelmingly R district as based on registration. Yeah, they could vote Kerry, and union members could vote R. Wanna bet either of those happen?

Yes. Remember the words of Conan: "What is happiness?" "To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their veeee-men."

They had a sign posted in our polling place to "conceal" any party buttons or signs. I'd never seen that before.

My Doctors have said that I can go off of my meds for one day.........so............

............In about an hour, the roads should be dry from last nights rain. I will then hop on my Harley and ride to a local winery. I will buy 2 bottles of a good wine and rush home. I will wait until about 30 minutes before my Bride gets home from work (I am retired) and then pop the corks.

My Bride doesn't drink and I seldom drink, so it should be a short evening.

Now, if the election continues to be so close as to make me a nervous wreck, I will switch to coffee and be up all darn night.

If we needed bad weather anywhere today, it was NE Ohio.

Perhaps He is watching, after all.

I'm also headed to a local Italian place to celebrate... with a veal parmesan sub. And I will make sure it is DOLPHIN-SAFE veal. :)

Wear a seal-skin jacket...

Raining cats and dogs...

Be careful not to step in a "poodle". ;-P

I voted in Fairborn (suburb of Dayton). Line almost out the door when I arrived around 7:30, took about 45 minutes to get through and vote.

Poll workers agreed turnout was very high.

There's also a polling place right next door to where I live (why it's not for my precinct, I don't know) and the line's been out the door into the parking lot, almost back to the street all morning.

Hudson pretty much Republican. Can't say about Stow. Welcome to the area

I suspected that about Hudson. And I imagine Stow is a conservative-leaning mixed bag, being between Akron and Hudson and considering the demographics.

Thanks for the welcome.

If this is over by 8 pm central, what will we do the rest of the night?

I certainly hope that President Bush has been declared the winner by that time, although I suspect it may well be later. Whenever it occurs, though, I am truly looking forward to watching the stricken shell-shocked expressions on the long faces of the Media - and smiling.
