The writer of this piece has hit the nail on the head. Unfortunately, we cannot depend on the Democrat candidate to put the good of the country ahead of his own personal ambition.

From the tone of several posters, we can't count on us either.

Yes- the writer has nailed it.
My opinion- the Democrats, especially Kerry, WANT to destroy the process by which we elect our President. Then they gain a means to rule the country without the vote of the people.
As in other socialist countries- you can ' vote' , for show, but there is only one name on the ballot.
That is what Kerry is saying now. Vote all you like- he will declare victory regardless. If he gets away with it, he will have established that votes mean nothing.
Once the Socialists are in, hell will follow.

If, God forbid, Kerry does steal the election, I say we begin impeachment proceedings on November 3.
