But furthermore, that woman should have lost her teaching position at that college immediately!! Exactly. And, since she was a "visiting prof," I want to know where she was visiting from. They need to hear from us, too.

You guys better do something about this kind of nonsense before kids decide they'd rather be electricians, carpenters or plumbers rather than go to college/LOL.

Exactly. And, since she was a "visiting prof," I want to know where she was visiting from. They need to hear from us, too. Yep, I had to break away from FR for a minute to go to that college website.
Whereever that prof is from, they definitely don't have the same notion of acceptable behavior that we have in Texas. At risk of being hypocritical, that woman needs a good old fashioned Texas ass kickin' on top of everything else. You know, if the kicked student were one of my kids, I'm thinkin' I'd be all over that woman and risking arrest myself!

"What was good for Bobby Knight..." When he decides to leave Texas, I hope his next job is head of the NCAA. How sweet it would be!

"Hard to tell from the article if it was an actual professor or just a TA. TAs, I'd imagine are much easier to get rid of."
What should their position matter? IF this is a teacher, or a TA, or a janitor, or the school president they should be fired immediately, without question.

" Before these looney liberals go starting a revolution they better think about who has the guns."Not going to happen.
I have noticed that liberals don't think.
They don't think I should eat meat.
They don't think I should drive an SUV
They don't think I should own guns
They don't think I have freedom of speech
They don't think I should smoke
They don't think I should pay less taxes
They don't think I have a right to detest homosexuality
They don't think I have a right to believe in God
They just don't think.

The military has great disdain for the Gigolo and the
Pretty Boy; Kerry has not gone near a military installation
because he is AFRAID they will boo him, or just endure him
If he does, it will shock me. If this bunch were to get
what they think they want (Kerry as CIC), it's a good chance
they'll have to learn to fight when he changes his mind
(flip-flops) and drafts them, because the real military is
on the edge of bugging out.

"Visiting" for fourteen years? Wonder what her immigration status is.Curious, isn't it? It probably means she isn't qualified for a professorship and this is their back-door method of awarding psuedo-tenure.
