sadder than sad - as the song goes..........
I know this is not out of the realm of possibility - the dems will come up with "cultural differences to adverse weather" - or some such crap.
I hope the weathermen in PA, Mi and Oh have malpractice insurance.
I've seen this phenomenom in action. In 1982 here in Ohio the GOP nominated a stiff named Bud Brown. The dems were brawling between Dick Celeste (who vowed to implement a state income tax if he won) and Jerry Springer (yes, that Jerry Springer).
Springer vowed not to implement a state income tax.
On primary day in May torrential thunderstorms hot the greater Cincinnati area (Springer's strength) and Cleveland had a sunny warm day. The polls showed the race tight, but Celeste blew Springer out of the water by the mid to high teens.
By the way, Celeste's first act in office was to implement a state income tax. His lact act - commutation of all death sentences sitting on death row.
