Anyone care to guess which major newspaper would run such a story? We know which ones we can rule out.

Where does the tip come from?
Is it reliable?

I have no idea who would run it.
A little "gun shy" after the stolen honor bait and switch.

Anyone care to guess which major newspaper would run such a story?Let's see...Washington Times, NY Post, Manchester Union Leader, WSJ Editorial Page. I think that about wraps it up.

IF it's true, then I bet it'll be something about Kerry's discharge after having aided and comforted the North Vietnamese in Paris.

The only two that I would consider "major" that would do it would be "New York Post" or "Washington Times" -- I just hope this is as big as Powerline is hinting at -- I have been waiting impatiently for the October surprise that Karl Rove promised when he was interviewed by Sean Hannity.

it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness. No way! We all know Kerry's a paragon of truthfullness. < /sarcasm >

Powerline is a great blog, so I believe them. As far as a paper goes, it certainly won't be the NYSlime.

I heard a rumor about the Kerry's paying SS tax on only one domestic employee, although they employ dozens.

We don't yet have any details, but it relates to a foreign policy issue, and it will call into question--amazingly enough--John Kerry's truthfulness. That does not narrow it down very much.

Well the revelation that he praised the Afghan operation when it was going on on Larry King, and its contrast with his complete 180 on that issue now should have made some news.
I hope someone at the Bush campaign and RNC have plans to use this in an ad. It could be just as embarrassing for Kerry as his "I actually voted for the 87 billion, before I voted against it."

Just an unsubstantiated rumor, mind you, but my husband heard something big was going to break on Sunday (tomorrow). Take it with a grain of salt, but it could be related to post #1.
